I can’t imagine my husband on this site, so I can’t help but wonder how many of the people responding are actually men versus women pretending to be men. I also think he would cheat if he believed he could do so without being caught, which is an unfortunate way to live—not trusting your spouse.

Same. I could not do it to my DH. Whether he finds out or not is irrelevant. Besides, DH and I have been each other's one and only for past 40 years.

(Another thing - my DH is also a germaphobe and being with another female is not something he could endure. )

I'm a woman. Maybe I just have really bad luck with the men (including relatives) in my life throughout the years, but I do truly believe a majority of men would cheat if given the opportunity to bang a 10 and 0.00% chance the wife finds out.

Mine too! he tells me that the more often we have sex, the more likely he is to fantasize about me when he jerks, rather than go into his bank. I know he says that to motivate me to do it more often, and it works!
