ASD & Tylenol?

I drank water and breathed oxygen during pregnancy and my child is autistic. In fact, every mother of an autistic child did the same. I've discovered the cause!

Vaccines have most certainly not been debunked. Are you watching CNN again?

I’ve been listening to medical doctors. And you? Cite the study that shows a link between vaccines and autism.

1. Medical doctors aren’t necessarily medical researchers
2. Saying something is debunked implies disproven which logically is not the same thing as showing a link to autism.

I’m pro-vaccination but part of what makes this whole debate keep raging is the way it’s talked about.

They did a Swedish study with over a million kids specifically controlling for familial traits and debunked this.

RFK is neither a medical doctor nor a medical researcher. Neither is his hack Geiner (who has been in trouble for practicing medicine without a license; his father lost his medical license for unethical conduct.

I don't understand your second point. No credible studies show a link between autism and vaccines and some studies specifically disprove (debunks) the link.

I don’t understand what they’re going to announce, because hasn’t this study or review or whatever it is called already come out?

I think the upside is that most women can probably just not take Tylenol for aches or pains or anything not a fever and be fine. But clearly, women were taking Tylenol for a reason so it seems like they’re going to have to move fast to give advice on what to do if you’re sick in early pregnancy.

The concern also is that it's literally the only fever reducer parents can give to infants and the only one pregnant women can take. Infants suffering fevers (and moms suffering untreated fevers while pregnant) absolutely can result in serious harm to a fetus or infant.

When can we start suing?

But it was rare and it was rarely severe. It started getting bad both in terms of how common it is and how severe it is around the 1980s

Yeah but the American Academy of Pediatrics told pregnant women to stop taking aspirin and start taking Tylenol in 1978. It was a big push when they realized aspirin caused Reyes syndrome.

This is just blatantly untrue. My mom was raised with a severely autistic cousin in the 1950s, they just referred to it under different terms.

We also all knew the quirky great uncle who was really particular about his food and really loved talking about different car models.

You know what definitely causes autism? Sperm from an autistic man. Or an egg from an autistic woman, for that matter.

You...are so wrong.

You are wrong. People with autism can have children who don’t have autism. Some studies show only 10-20% of children with one autistic parent have autism.
