ASD & Tylenol?

Anonymous
Trump is about to announce some blah blah this week on the link of Tylenol and Autism, I really don't believe it. My kiddo is on the spectrum, and I never took Tylenol while pregnant...obviously can be several factors but wondering if anyone has more information?

Autism existed before Tylenol.

No one can believe this is true. Vaccines have been debunked they have to find something to blame it on. There is very obviously a hereditary link.

Buy “information” I think you mean propaganda.

Will there be any evidence?

This has been studied extensively for years. It’s just to make RFK not look like a flake for saying they’d find a cause by September.

(I also have an autistic child and never took Tylenol. Genetic cause identified).

Obviously all anectotal, but I took a lot of Tylenol while pregnant (with twins) and neither has ASD. One has ADHD and the other maybe does but not confirmed. Neither particularly severe, and I likely have it as well, so Tylenol seems to be the least of our concerns.

Vaccines have most certainly not been debunked. Are you watching CNN again?

I took tylenol and my car got rear ended. Correlation is not causality.

“Tylenol during pregnancy. Early studies hinted at a possible correlation with autism. But this was largely put to rest after a major 2024 study compared siblings—one exposed to Tylenol in utero, the other not. This “natural experiment” took into account genetics and family environment, and the result was clear: the link disappeared. There’s some data to suggest that fevers during pregnancy are linked to autism, which Tylenol can help prevent.”

Trump said it after a mother said, "Sir, please sir. My child has autism and he took the Tylenol once when he was five. Sir, you have you save America, sir, and let everyone know!! Please sir. I am begging you. Please save us all, oh great one!"

I’ve been listening to medical doctors. And you? Cite the study that shows a link between vaccines and autism.
