Probably asking them how they pull off subjugating their women so well. |
That was the topic of my blog post yesterday: https://www.dcurbanmom.com/weblog/2025/05/12/update041325 |
Trumps sensibilities align greatly with the Gulf: a taste for luxury, nepotism, and love of oil and money. I am not surprised he gets along with them. Trump also greatly detests war. This is where Netanyahu and Trump differ. Trump is prone to double dealing and uses that as part of his self described “art of the deal”. I actually think it’s one of his strengths that he is so unpredictable and a wild card that world leaders do not know what to expect. He doesn’t show his cards so easily. One of the few good things about Trump is he isn’t a neocon war hawk and wants to move the Republican Party away from the Bush Doctrine. He wants to end the wars in Gaza and certainly does not want a preemptive war in Iran. Netanyahu loves war-always has. That’s where the bridge between them arises.
The good news for Israel is Trump is so unstable it will only be a matter of time before he stabs the Arab states in the back just like he did to them. He may complain the plane he gets is not as luxurious or they gave him a hand me down. It may be that insane |
This is even more hilarious when you know Netanyahu’s nickname in Israel is “Mr America” lol. Knowing how to “handle America” given his childhood here is his selling point to Israelis |
If this is the case, doesn't that sort of undermine the whole "Trump and the GOP are the party for the Jews" thing? |
Interesting...Maybe Trump might actually be progressing towards peace in the Middle East. Who would've thought? |
this |
Once Trump gone in life and presidency, these deals will fail. Plus, all these countries are somewhat unstable. Go ahead Trump, build it and we will gladly take it from you. |
WHO ARE YOU? |
I would have thought that argument had been undermined some time ago. |
How much of the Saudi billions will end up in trump's personal coffers? |
He’s there with Musk, Altman, and Fink (from BlackRock)?
This is not good. Something really evil is happening. |
😂😂😂😄. What a sight to imagine! The old princes in their white gowns clapping to the beat. |
It’s weird to think about but Saudi is actually led by a leader born in 1985. His dementia ridden father was shown the door years ago unlike our current and last president. The Gulf leaders are all millenials very attuned to Western culture and who grew up on social media unlike their older predecessors. I think Israel greatly underestimated their cultural knowledge of the Us. Netanyahu and Trump are actually the aging stars in this picture . Very dramatically different Middle East from just a decade ago |
