ICE Rumors of raids targeting nannies in D.C at playgrounds and parks cause fear and panic.

Sounds like the Marshalls were executing a warrant at The Saratoga or The Brandywine.

Parents may want to steer clear of these buildings, both have had shootings and other violence. They have changed quite a bit in the last few years.

Even if what you post is true that they it was the Marshal Service arresting a murder suspect, are you saying that you wouldn't run to the park to get your children if you knew there was a murder suspect there? That doing so is securing social media glory because children belong in the middle of the arrests of violent criminals?

The murder suspect was in an apartment building.

Most educated people do. The bigger problem is that some of them support what’s happening.

I for one think it is.

If someone sent you a text saying nannies were abandoning kids at the playground for whatever reason, you'd go help the kids. You guys are focused on the politics; I assure you, moms are focused on their kids.

Why was this article even written? “Area woman scared of cops and their big black guns” is now enough to hang a story on?

Hilariously and succinctly summarized.

Bravo.

Then that simply means you are completely ignorant of history and are prone to believing every fool thing your feed presents you with.

Anonymous wrote:The article is confusing. The mom is “struggling” with how to talk about “this” with her toddler children. Which part? The make believe ICE raid or the real murder suspect living down the street? These folks live in an alternate reality. It’s incredible that I pass among these people in the grocery store.

That woman sounds like my sister who declared on social media that she was crying and shaking when she claims ICE come to the Lotte Market. And how was she going to explain this to her second grader, who wasn’t with her. She’s white.

I can’t even with these people.

Now I have actually seen an ICE arrest and my 9th grader was with me, we drove by it twice in our regular after school commute and it was pretty startling so he had some questions and we talked about it. But he’s 15.

The mom sounds unhinged. She appears completely unconcerned with the actual 100% real-life alleged violent MURDERER who lives near her children. But she is very concerned about a bogus ICE raid because “these spaces that are supposed to be safe and child-friendly.” These people need psychological therapy.

I talk to a very happy Trump supporter regularly. He told me he was wary of the mainstream media and only watched individuals he thought he could trust.

He had never heard of international students having their visas revoked for sometimes minor traffic violations, and sometimes no reason at all; he had never heard of Germans, French, British, Australian, Canadian citizens being detained at the border and refused entry even though their visas or tourist waivers were all in order; and he had never thought of "gang member" deportees being anything other than what the government claimed, and thinks that due process could very well be minimized for such situations, given what he thinks is the urgency of dealing with so many migrant criminals. Furthermore, he claimed that his news sources had proof that Kilmar Abrego Garcia was a gang member and had been caught in a human trafficking operation (the NYT says he had a deportation protection and was never found guilty of human trafficking).

So clearly the people who think we're all hunky-dory are insulated from the certain pieces of news. They can only be reached if we fall into a severe recession. My dear MAGA friend thinks the tariffs will cause short-term pain for long-term gain.
