No nuts, no bread, you are mammal, not a bird. Eat lean beef with nice vegetables cooked in olive oil.

Agree if you want to lose weight, no nuts, half the bread, more protein. How much protein and calories in the yogurt drink? Salads are mostly vehicles for salad dressing imo and no one tracks it right, and watch how much oil and fat you’re getting.

I have lost exactly 25 pounds in 4 months by single minded focus on counting calories and walking. I missed target of 1750 calories only two days in that time. Walked up to 4 miles in one day when I over-ate but generally did 1.5 mile loop in my neighborhood.

I kept usual American (crap diet) and had good motivation: needed to fit in my 1 suit for daughter’s high school graduation in June.

This morning I hit my goal: 149.

You are not adding enough simple math to your campaign. Count calories and more aerobic exercise (walking did it for me)

You will lose weight. Good luck. I simply kept food journal - no apps.

54 male - so you will have to eat less or exercise more at your given weight.

I lost 40 pounds without counting calories and I ate a lot more than OP is eating (i was in late 40s no trouble maintaining years later). I ate a lot of whole oats, plain yogurt, fruit, nuts (didn't realize I wasn't allowed these as a mammal, oops), whole grains, chicken/meat, salad, eggs, no alcohol, small desserts. 5'4 and 115 pounds (was at 155, never carried weight around my middle). I didn't count calories, skip meals, weigh or measure my food, track, etc. The weight just came off when i quit most sugar and processed food. I usually did a daily 5 or 6 mile brisk walk on an incline.

If you’re lazy make a huge pot of soup and eat that for lunch all week. If you want a snack choose an apple or ripe banana and a piece of cheese or hard boiled egg. Skip the potatoes and rice for dinner. Double your protein. Eat your veggies cooked instead of a salad. Berries again or other fruit for dessert.

+1

When OP called it sugar-free, the stevia yogurt drink junk came right to mind.

Pure poison.

The thing that immediately jumps out at me is that you have cut out 'weekday' alcohol.

You could be consuming way more calories in alcohol on weekends than you realize. Are you measuring your alcohol portions (for example with a food scale) and counting those calories accurately?

If I were you, I'd quit drinking altogether for about 3 months and see if it has an effect.
