The first woman president

The next president will be a boring white guy, slightly younger than our most recent ones.

I personally would vote for AOC or any of the younger Democrats being talked about now. But she won't win. If America votes for a woman, it will be a woman who does not threaten the male ego. She will be conservative but code moderate, simply by being softspoken and having gentle mannerisms. She will be attractive, probably white, probably of a slender build, and definitely a mother. Most likely of a WASP or northern European background.

I used to think Kristi Noem fit the bill until she bragged about shooting a dog. But generally she will fit the profile of a Mama Grizzly conservative, "tough" only in the pro-America red-blooded right wing kind of way, stroking the alpha male aesthetic ego. She won't be a pantsuit girlboss. She would win independents and moderate Democrats only because so much of this country is ill-informed about politics in that a woman - a softspoken woman, not someone outwardly crazy like MTG or Lauren Boebert - would "code moderate" just because she's a woman.

The first woman president will be nonthreatening and pleasing to the male gaze, and she will be subservient to a white male VP. But the GOP will get to claim the historic milestone of the first woman president.

You've got it all wrong. The 1st woman POTUS will be one who knows how to play nice with mega donors and one who is willing to tell the American people whatever they want to hear in order to gain support. HRC played nice with the mega donors, received more voted than Trump in 2016, and would have won easily had she worked half as hard as Trump did in the mid-western swing states while telling those people whatever they wanted to hear like Trump did.

The AOC type will never be given a fair chance at a major party nomination as long as they are speaking out against things like capitalism, the wealth divide, campaign finance, and insider trading by her colleagues in Congress.

It doesn't matter what's between a candidate's legs. What matters most is the willingness to lie on the campaign trail to receive votes and the willingness to play nice with the wealthy major political party mega-donors.

The present GOP Will not nominate a woman for president. The first woman president will have to be become president via speaker of the House and Republicans aren't ever going to elect a woman as Speaker! White men are terrified of a woman being president. Whatever there will be no female president in my life time.

America chose fascism because a woman dared to laugh.

Sadly, I’m not hopeful I’ll see a woman president in my time.

That's a great simpleton outlook you have there scatterbrains. If HRC would have spent a few more hours in Michigan and Wisconsin in 2016, we would have had a woman POTUS already. But hey, let's forget about facts and logic and just rely on our hysteria and nonsensical mindsets.

Kamala already became the first female president, albeit briefly.

Not technically. Check your facts.

I’m a woman and don’t care what the first women president looks like, her race, her nationality or her sexual orientation. I also would never vote for a person simply because she’s a woman. That’s insulting.

And yet, there isn’t a single “man” in charge right now.

It’s quite ironic.

And no, I don’t think the first female president will be republican. You are not paying attention. They want women to be trad wives and don’t even want them voting. They certainly don’t want a woman worrying her pretty little head over nuclear codes.

99% of Americans agree with you.

Yep — except nationality unless you mean ethnicity. The constitution requires the president to be an American (nationality, American is not an ethnicity). But what the candidate is ethnically (eg, Italian, Cuban, Peruvian, etc.) or racially (Caucasian, Asian, Black, etc.) doesn’t matter to most voters today.

Apparently most voters of today think only 80 year old people should be POTUS so there is that.

I don't think so. Our country will be in shambles in 4 years. It will be someone who can restore trust and rebuild our systems.

So basically all we need is any POTUS similar to what we had between Washington and Obama. That's all we want and need. Normal, adequate leadership.
