Kids change majors all the time. Go to the college that the kid likes best. They’re both top flagships.

UF because it's a better school and Athens is kind of a dump.

It’s a waste of time and money to change majors.

UGA.

Florida is doing all kinds of really weird and backwards stuff when it comes to education, from kinder up to college level.

Go to the university that is higher ranked so UF. Oh and they are winning Championships on top of that. Congrats on getting into UF

UF for sure. It’s a better university and Florida is a much more interesting place to live for weekend trips etc.

I definitely say UF - the name is VERY well recognized in Florida and certainly gaining a strong national reputation as well.

However, I learned that as of this morning, dorms for next fall are full - but that there is a waitlist. I read that there is a good chance of getting off the waitlist for housing - BUT you need to sign the housing contract now if you are interested in attending UF and living On-Campus. If you still can't decide, UF is one of the few schools where there are plenty of off campus apartments within walking distance (in some cases even closer than some of the dorms).
