Comfortable walking sandals to wear with skirts and dresses in Europe

Those Naots are nice. I hadn't heard of that brand -- thanks for sharing!

I've looked online at a bunch of Sketchers options. Maybe something like this? Looking to spend less than $100 as I don't know how much I will wear them apart from traveling.

Why do you care about looking like an outsider? You ARE an outsider. You are a tourist and will look like one. Why do you care if someone notices? It isn’t like you will blend in any case…

Why do you assume she will definitely look like a tourist? Depending where I am in Europe, I've been mistaken for a local plenty of times.

Just because you're an outsider doesn't mean you have to look like a schlumpy tourist. I live in NYC and walk all over the place.

I've posted 2 Birkenstocks. Here's another brand:

no one is wearing such a high wedge for walking around a city all day on vacation - that's for going out for dinner at night

OP here. I intentionally didn't post on the Fashion board because I wasn't looking at fashion advice per se. I know I am not stylish and have accepted that. Comfort is still my number one goal. I've tried a number of brands of the "court" style sneakers like Adidas and Puma, Veja, etc. and the stiff upper is not comfortable to me. I like a roomy, stretchy toe box in a closed shoe.

Why not just get some nice cushy Hokas or New Balance sneakers? You’ll be doing a lot of walking….along with all the other tourists who look like tourists.

I agree that none of these are "cute" but rather than just throw shade, why not post an example of a cute sandal that would be great to do a lot of walking around in as a tourist?

Sure, you'd look like less of a tourist in these

But truly, I would wear trainers. Your feet get disgusting in any city if you wear open toed shoes.

With most of those they wouldn't just be disgusting, they'd be bruised and bloodied.

What's with all the wedge love for cities with uneven rocky streets?

I recently went on a 2+week vacation with a lot of walking every day and had a great experience with white leather Reeboks from Costco. They were softer than I expected. I did break them in beforehand.
As a bonus, they also worked with a dress.

OP here. I wear Birk Mayari almost every day of summer and they are very comfortable to me. But I don't wear them on walks or on long days out of the house exploring. Thanks for the ideas everyone. And I'm still bringing sneakers on the trip too. I'm not totally crazy.
