They’re not joking about a third term for Trump

The amendment is SO CONFUSING. I think it only applies to two non consecutive terms. Obama can run again but not Trump.

He hasn't held office for over eight years and these RWNJs still can't stop blabbing about him.

Not really. It is pretty straightforward.

No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once. But this Article shall not apply to any person holding the office of President when this Article was proposed by the Congress, and shall not prevent any person who may be holding the office of President, or acting as President, during the term within which this Article becomes operative from holding the office of President or acting as President during the remainder of such term.

Because in their minds it’s all about owning the libs, and therefore it’s all one big joke. Not sure sure what it will take to convince them it’s not funny.

Trump is not going to be able to get elected again with his numbers falling. It is getting ugly out there against maga and republicans.

That north Georgia town hall town in a very red safe seat was pretty angry.

I almost wish he’d won in 2020, because he’d be out of our hair now. The 4 year hiatus gave them time to regroup, remove all the moderate Republican guardrails, and form an unholy alliance with Silicon Valley.

They whine about everything. This isn't new. They say things like states' rights until they don't agree with those rights.

Just remember that half the people [that voted] chose Trump. That's what we're living with, no matter who is in the White House. How do you reconcile that?

Good point. But honestly I thought people wouldn't have been as gullible and stupid enough to buy this sh!t again after the hiatus. I thought the repugnants would run someone else. But its like group Trump hysteria and he isn't even good at a single thing. I can't figure it out.

Don’t care. Obama won convincingly twice. Trump was defeated less than five years ago. MAGA can be defeated.

1. That has nothing to do with Trump going for a third term.

2. Trump was winning was not authoritative to violate constitutional norms or push the boundaries of the executive branch as we are currently seeing. Based on his poll numbers, it’s clear that people did not vote for all of this.

Sorry, typos on phone. That should say Trump winning was not authorization….

If he hasn't succumbed to old age by 82, he'll barely be a functioning adult. Aside, he's going to be a historically unpopular President by 2028.

and then musk for two terms, and by then they’ll find someone for a term, and then another musk term and before you know it, you’ve had Trump / musk / someone else for 16+ years. Seems like putin’s playbook in russia
