Harris’s GOTV effort wasn’t as good or organized as Biden’s. She actually gained ground over Biden in the suburbs in Georgia, specifically in Atlanta, while losing loads of voters in rural areas that are majority Black. They didn’t all vote for Trump (I mean I’m sure some did but not in huge numbers), they just didn’t vote. Biden 2020 did an excellent job of turning out these voters and that’s how he flipped the state. When margins are narrow, every vote counts.

Sadly, the Harris campaign was hit with massive amounts of misinformation and attacks from all sides. People on the far left were attacking her with propaganda about the Gaza situation, and then it miraculously went away after the election until the hostage release. We all knew Bibi was never going to work with the Biden or Harris administrations - only his buddy and similar strongman, Trump. On the right it was a nonstop stream of attacks about meaningless trans stuff that affects like 0.5% of the population. It also seems like we’re in a more conservative mood as a country right now, except people thought they were voting for illegal immigration crackdowns, an end to affirmative action, and some general feel-good stuff about crime, and instead they voted to hand over the US to Christian nationalists and drug addicted tech bros.

Trump got far more "extra votes" than Harris in swing states, both when comparing to downticket races within the same state and when comparing to mom swing states.

Republicans had a known substantial contingent of "Never Trumpers" who vote Republican but not Trump, but Democrats who vote Democrat also supported Harris. ("Moderates" who claim to be tired of "progressives" vote Republican, not Democrat-but-not-Harris)

NP. I don’t think it was rigged. Why? Because I have young adult sons in a deep blue state. Four years ago when most could vote for the first time, they and their friends all voted for Biden. It was unanimous. They didn’t know a single Trump voter.

This time around, in a deep blue county in a deep blue state, my sons reported they were in the minority of their friends in voting for Harris. And their friends are mostly not white.

If Trump is winning deep blue young non-white voters, this wasn’t rigged.

Dems didn’t learn from Hillary. The first female President was/is not also going to be black. In 2028, they’ll probably nominate some trans, black, female because “it’s the right thing to do” and Trump will be elected for a third term while sitting in a dementia ward. Wake up Dems!
