[quote=Anonymous]Harris’s GOTV effort wasn’t as good or organized as Biden’s. She actually gained ground over Biden in the suburbs in Georgia, specifically in Atlanta, while losing loads of voters in rural areas that are majority Black. They didn’t all vote for Trump (I mean I’m sure some did but not in huge numbers), they just didn’t vote. Biden 2020 did an excellent job of turning out these voters and that’s how he flipped the state. When margins are narrow, every vote counts. Sadly, the Harris campaign was hit with massive amounts of misinformation and attacks from all sides. People on the far left were attacking her with propaganda about the Gaza situation, and then it miraculously went away after the election until the hostage release. We all knew Bibi was never going to work with the Biden or Harris administrations - only his buddy and similar strongman, Trump. On the right it was a nonstop stream of attacks about meaningless trans stuff that affects like 0.5% of the population. It also seems like we’re in a more conservative mood as a country right now, except people thought they were voting for illegal immigration crackdowns, an end to affirmative action, and some general feel-good stuff about crime, and instead they voted to hand over the US to Christian nationalists and drug addicted tech bros.
