It is interesting they don’t incrementally raise the pricing or lower elementary school. $58K is a hard pill to swallow signing up to start in 3rd grade with intention of going through HS. It would make me want to hold off as long as you could in public before starting.

It's my understanding they never have. Seems easier for the school to budget if you give everyone the same price.
But yes, it's steep for elementary school, especially compared to other area options.

As a lower school parent, I agree fully. A lot of other comparable schools ramp up. Definitely makes me think twice about starting our younger child right in 3rd grade or waiting until later.

I am also eager to see what Sidwell and Maret’s new tuition is.

I believe Maret will be in just below $54K for upper school.

Madeira was almost $56K for day last year and almost $72K for boarders. 2025-6 hasn't been released yet but expecting a couple thousand more than last year.
