Assistant Principal Frank is out. Odd announcement?

He seems very connected with the students, understands the balance between sports and academics, and attends TJ games every night, even away games. Overall, I'm very bullish on him as he cares about the school and the students.

Thanks.

I am the OP. This is a relief to hear, as my child is class of 2028.

As I stated, I only met Asst Principal Frank on a few occasions; he was kind and helpful. Hope this all turn out to be a big nothingburger and he will end up being happy in his new role.

You are a terrible person.

Almost all of these DCUM posts speculate about private people. Otherwise there would be no DCUM.

Most DCUM are ok, except for few of D SCUMS

This must be why TJ is ranked 14th in the country now.

Now Bonipatibus is leaving too, for a job in FCPS's HR department.

Forshay, the interim AP, has been director of student activities at TJ for a few years now. He seems to be fairly well liked, though he’s rather young and I don’t know what experience he has with the administrative/disciplinary stuff.

This is very strange. I would understand if he left to become principal somewhere but this looks like he was forced out.
I hope somebody follows up.

There are a few black staff leaving or forced leave. Forshay seems to be involved in both.

Not sure what happened, although school went through a drastic mindset shift during pandemic, may not have been compatible with his approach.

His approach was not good. He was not as he seemed. So being placed some where else seems right to me as my dealings were shocking.

What does she know about running HR department?

What was his approach?

Something is going on over at TJ. Both Bonitatibus and Frank departing within a week of each other. Something’s fishy.

It is going to be a disaster! The newly hired teachers this year do not know how to teach. She does not take any action on some teachers who show their bias towards students, make in appropriate comments on their intelligence outwardly in the class and do not know how to teach. Some counselors do not even acknowledge parent's emails expressing concerns about student's well being. As a parent you don't feel comfortable approaching the admin because they were involved in the school's admissions policy and have become political. I'm ready for a change!!!

Her hiring was fine. I’m a parent of a TJ senior who has 2 brand new teachers who are great. As were the new hires into the physics department last year. Wish they could get math teachers replaced. That is the most arrogant and worst department at TJ.

Relevant to the principal turnover: National Review seems to be taking a victory lap.

Some factual inaccuracies in the article, so take it for what it's worth - and I say that as an NR reader.
