| I like the house, but I don't like the location. That Balls Hill/Old Dominion intersection is awful and the traffic on the Beltway near Georgetown Pike is equally bad. |
Plus one. Also 5 beds and 9.5 bathrooms seems bizarre. |
| Ugly, that property sold for 1.7 million a few years ago. That price seems insane. |
| I think it’s overpriced, but I really like the home. The location is OK in the sense that you have several option to egress from the neighborhood and access 495, 123, Old Dominion, etc.; however, it can get congested during rush hours. |
Also an Artisan house |
I love the massive window right in front of the tub in the bathroom. It’s for rich exhibitionists I guess. It’s not my style, but I can see how it might appeal. Crazy amount of money though. |
| Jen Garner’s home in LA—built from scratch—was less. |
I like this better. Jen’s house is kind of grandma. |
| Jen's house is very grandma |
Also, I don’t think the price is accurate. She spent $8m and then knocked the house down and built her current house. No way did it only cost $2m. |
|
I detest the exterior.
The inside looks like a quality home and except for the up lighting and some of the light fixtures, tastefully done. $10 million is ridiculous. And don’t lecture me about McLean value. I lived there. I can’t stand the trend of 11,000 sq ft houses. Insane. |
| It’s contingent so no need to worry… |
That's just the land.... |
| This house is like what if The Rats of NIMH but it was donkeys and they took over. |
And that’s not an $8.3 million home on the lot. That’s a $3 million home blown up to 11,000 sq ft to jack up the price. Some foreign country or prince will buy it and leave it empty most of the year. |
