Me too! Also, I'm late to the Mormon mommy influencer party, but I've pulled up a seat there as well. |
| I'm sorry OP but he sounds seriously delluded and unhinged. Is it possible to bring him into a Drs office under the guise of an annual physical and then start getting him to talk about aliens in from of the doctor? |
| Paranoid obsessions was the first sign that the guy I was dating was suffering from bipolar disorder. The subject matter isn’t important (may have been valid), the quality of obsession is concerning. I think instead of trying to convince your husband that aliens don’t exist (I have no strong feelings here, seems like there might be more evidence than I would have imagined but…) you need to address why he is obsessed, how it’s affecting him, you etc. maybe a therapist. Any other behavior changes? |
| I do think aliens exist, but the problem is that he seems obsessed with it and unable to talk about anything else. That would worry me. Has he always had tendencies to not be able to "read the room"? |
Unidentified does not mean space ship, it could mean flash of light. |
Yes there are objects that are not identified... that does not mean space ship. |
| Standard advices to let the patient have their own beliefs, acknowledge and accept their emotional reaction to it, neither deny nor endorse their delusions, and focus on helping them live safely and comfortably without hurting themselves or others. |
Flash of light isn't flying. That would be a sensor anomaly, not a UFO |
Ambassadors to allied countries are the least intelligent, least skilled people in government. Those jobs are given out in exchange for campaign donations. Good looking dumb trust fund kids. |
Which country has the ability to secretly develop technology beyond the US capability to understand? If they are anything they are US secret tech. |
My brother has bipolar with delusions, schizoaffective type. His paranoia sounds a lot like this. He tries to warn us of things. Was very antivax, antifloride, anti 5G.. it all followed a very troubling pattern. He is extremely well educated (Stanford, etc), but he is mentally ill and won’t do anything about it. He’s not a harm to anyone though, so I can’t fo much about it. He goes through cycles where he seems almost fine. |
| I mean...he is correct to be concerned. There is something happening and the government is preparing us for disclosure. Its not a good time to bury your head in the sand. |
What does he propose you do about it? Hold on -- Ima pop me some popcorn. But I gotta know. |
You are absolutely correct but this guy seems to have gone down way too deep in the rabbit hole. |
As other posters have mentioned, there’s been a lot of credible testimony around the topic. The phenomenon is very real, but, there’s literally nothing obsessing over it will do. I do think that somewhere the US does know more than the general population on this topic, but they don’t understand it and releasing what’s known would cause chaos. It seems that all of the “glitch in the matrix” type phenomenon such as near death experiences, ghosts, posessions, aliens, ufos, religion, power of prayer, etc are all likely related and symptomatic of a spiritual collective intelligence. |
