Where did your UW 4.0 kid go to college?

So OP knows, we know one at an ivy with a C+ from fall of senior year, core class. It is not a 4.0 that is needed no matter what.

So far, so good, but he is a freshman, so early days. He got generous merit aid, and good credit for AP and IB courses. His classes aren’t too big — he was invited to take an honors section of math (his major) with like 15 students.

Submitted 1540, I think

App was very strong in recommendations (her school wanted to nominate her for UVA Jefferson award)

Also very involved in social justice and school leadership and sports, but a Mediocre athlete :/

Well rounded - lots of AP history and literature, and even 1 science and calc AB, but hates math & science
