Yes, the very near future. Trump’s main value to his party is his ability to get his ticket elected. After that, they will have little use for an unpredictable rage-monster with multiple mental health issues. I could see Trump quickly “resigning due to health issues” after the election, with the assistance that the next president will pardon him for whatever needs to be pardoned. Yet they chose a zero-charisma VP with limited political experience, who alienates entire demographic groups every time he opens his Thiel-bought mouth. There’s got to be a big-picture strategy here somewhere though, right?

To be clear, I think this ticket of losers will lose the election. I’m just trying to understand the reasoning behind their current campaign.
