Wanna post your profile here and we can give feedback? Based off your post I’m betting quite a bit of negativity comes across in your profile. Complaining isn’t sexy.

Congrats, you messaged first. Stop thinking you represent all women. So many women never went to open first. That's why you have the absurdity now taking place on bumble and why the company is in the proverbial toilet tanking and not making any money.

Just a guess, but women probably aren’t messaging you because of your attitude. It’s terrible.

Except they do on other platforms, so your hypothesis sucks.

Yup for sure it’s the attitude.

Yes, you can tell someone's attitude on a platform you won't even engage on first even though it is required.

You are quite dim.

Yep, you can. If your attitude comes across this poorly on DCUM, it comes across on Bumble.

Bumble is a platform where women can be extremely picky. You aren’t getting messaged because your profile is either bland or your attitude comes across.

I mean, you’re insulting random strangers online who are trying to help you. You’re the definition of a “nice guy” who puts on a facade to get laid but is a raging, entitled POS underneath. Women on Bumble don’t tolerate that.

But hey, sounds like you’re killing it on Tinder and Hinge, so stick with those. Bumble worked very well for me and I’m happy it’s set up the way it is.

Real woman here who met boyfriend on Bumble and said women who message to say go to OnlyFans are looking for clients.

Bumble was the only dating platform I was on. I tried others and hated the messages I got from men. I liked it because I didn’t have to wade through a ton of stupid messages.

+1 if you see that it’s a dead giveaway that she’s a “professional” trying to get traffic to her paid sites.

Wrong. You are out of touch how this dumb platform works:

https://www.npr.org/2024/05/06/1249296671/bumble-dating-apps-women-opening-moves

Bumble is tying itself in gordian knots on trying to figure out how not force women to make the opening move while enhancing engagement. That's why their stupid company is taking. It just devolves into making men hit them up on other social media sites, defeating the entire purpose of the platform.

Ok try it sometime. Add them and message them on IG and see what happens. Not saying all but definitely more than half are looking for traffic to their paid sites. It’s a dead giveaway.

I also met my bf on Bumble. Neither had a paid subscription. Sorry it’s not working for you, I guess.

You’re probably one of those men who is negative in their profile—‘Any real women on here?’ ‘Hoping to delete this app!’ Etc

Then why are you whining so much about Bumble?

The thing about Bumble is that it's one business model. So I'd say that if women don't want to message first, it's them who should not join Bumble. Assuming you are a man, just let those profiles go and let the women use it as intended. Or move to another platform where you can message first without going to Instagram.

I do know a few successful couples who met there, and I am not sure but I have no reason to think the women in those didn't message first (they are not the type to be shy or coy or join if that's not their thing).

Bumble was the worst of the apps for me as a man. Got no results from it vs the others

Bumble has far less fake profiles and scammers than any of the other sites I've tried. Before they changed it to allow a man to comment on one of her photos, thus making the first move, I received very few messages from women making the first move. In nearly every case, the message was one or two words like, Hi. Women are n ot used making the first move so their business model is very flawed and they realized it. Now, you can even send a short voice message first letting her hear your voice so it has improved.

BTW, the worst dating site IMO is Plenty-of-Fish. Full of scammers they don't filter at all and a terrible user interface. They also have age restrictions on who you can contact or even see on the site. I think you can't go under 14 years if I remember correctly. ANd no matter what geographic limits you set, it still shows people from about NY to GA to OH.

Yes. They're real. So many women never want to be the first to engage on these apps, but the apps are designed to give women all the power to initiate. So you see absurdities on platforms like bumble where a woman literally says in their profile something along the lines of "Will not measage first, please hit up my insta at this handle". It's mind warpingly stupid. Basically, no men should pay to use this platform to find dates. Just browse insta for free at this point. Utterly moronic company management and product designers.
. These "dating sites" are LOADED with fake "female" profiles and bots. What world are you living in?

I'm a middled aged divorced man who did well on Bumble, but I know how to string two sentences together and I'm a 6-6-6.
