| I wash with a cleanser twice a day (evenings I double cleanse with an oil), except for the dead of winter—then in the mornings I spritz with a hydrating spray instead because my skin is so incredibly dry that it will start to flake badly no matter what moisturizers I use after a cleanser. |
| Absolutely at the end of the day! I wear no makeup but I wash off any oils, dirt, bacteria. I sometimes have to wash twice if I had my mask on for hours. |

Normal body or hand soap is too harsh for my face.
If I'm not wearing make-up or sunscreen (or haven't just worked out or something), I don't use soap, just wet washcloth. If I have on make-up or something, then a gentle facial cleanser. My skin has never been better since I stopped using harsh products on my face and started using a daily non-greasy gentle moisturizing on my face. |
| Twice a day with soap - derm rec. |
It’s a first aid beauty cleanser |
| water in AM, dove unscented beauty bar at night. |
| Water, unless I need to remove makeup. I’ve been genetically blessed with basically perfect skin so I’ve never felt the need to do much. I do wear moisturizer—my skin is a bit dry. |
| Just water in the morning. Gentle face wash at night to remove sunscreen and makeup. |
| I use Cetaphil at the end of the day, no washcloth. I don’t wash my face at all in the morning. |
| Gentle facial cleanser at night followed by moisturizer.rinse with water in the morning, no washcloth or scrubbing followed by moisturizer + sunblock. |
| Cold cream, washcloth, rinse. |
| I use Cllinique cleanser in showers. |
| I wash with soap at least four or five times a day: once before I have coffee, once in the shower, once usually in the late afternoon when the grime of the day has caught up with me, and once at bedtime. My face is pretty much as oily as it's always been and I'm almost 60. If I don't wash it, it's too disgusting to live with. I used Basis or a clear glycerine soap, depending on what I have on hand or which sink I find myself at. I use a light powder as my only makeup. |
NP. You do realize that different people have different issues, right? Some people need to use cleansers and some don't. I have oily skin and hair and if I don't use a cleanser then it will build-up and I will get acne breakouts. I shower in the morning and I wash my face with body wash each morning. Once a day washing of my face keeps my skin smooth and avoids skin issues. |
+1. Also, the marketing folks want to make sure you shampoo twice, not just once. |
