Ima guess OP doesn't know what incel means.

yea, probably.

Lots of R men listen to ultra right wing podcasts and get riled up, especially against minorities. If they also hate women, then I would be concerned, OP. Does he include you in that group?

You're the same troll from the other day saying your DH is voting for trump.

We are over it.

If this is a drastic change, then take him to a doctor for a check up.

If he's just slowly changing his views, then talk to him about why. See if there's some way to meet on common ground before just divorcing. There are lots of couples with one R and one D. It's not like either side is 100% right or wrong. In real life, adults don't leave their spouse the second their views diverge.

I’m always amazed at the ease with which divorce is thrown around on DCUM. I think it’s just that misery loves company and these divorcées want everyone to be as bitter as they are.

This is not over nothing. Changing from being a rational human being of either political entity to becoming an alt-right misogynist and racist is a drastic personality change but more important, is a completely about face in core values.

(I know because my husband similarly became brainwashed by right-leaning podcasts. The dopamine hits from constant outrage and anger are actually very addictive, as is the stoking of victim mentality among white men.)

No if he become a misogynist, then there is not sex, then he became an incel.

Misogyny and/or racism are absolutely grounds for divorce. I’m amazed you needed this explained to you.

My brother is like this. Causes a lot of issues in his marriage as well, thankfully they got married a bit later and don’t have kids, but I really don’t see her staying.

For years, he considered himself a libertarian. My how that seems to have changed with the current right wing. He also has never been religious. We were not raised that way and now he seems to identify with Christian right as well, which is so strange to me considering he has not set foot in a church in years.

I blame Fox News big-time, especially Tucker Carlson, who he really seemed to identify with, and started developing the victim mentality as a white man he was being blamed for everything.

My sister-in-law has started thinking about a plan b.

I need some examples of this "hateful speech". I got called "hateful" by the PTA president for not wanting to mask my kids in May 2022. I also got called "hateful" on Facebook for all to see for sending my kids to Catholic school after that. That word gets thrown around to the point of meaninglessness.

What in the actual hell is this? It's fine if they become angry racists as long as they like women? Jeebus.

Yes, saying that you'd be concerned "[i]f they also hate women" is saying that hating minorities is not cause for concern. Not cause for concern = fine.

Ima guess there was something about your tone and demeanor and attitude when you did those things.

And refusing to mask your kids *was* hateful because it indicated selfish contempt for those around you. People often interpret reckless, antisocial behavior like that as hateful, especially when forcefully and performatively displayed.

That sort of tracks. All libertarians have arrested development, especially the Randians. It seems like a natural progression for their immaturity to fall in with these sorts of grievance-based ideologies.
