Sandy Anderson email

Sandy Anderson doesn’t really care about overcrowding. She’s just fully on board with the idea of trying to sell that to the public as the reason to adjust boundaries.

If she truly cared about the effect of overcrowding she’d be reaching out to constituents to see if they share her concerns. She’d also be pushing for an updated renovation queue.

She’s not doing any of these things. She’s just spouting the party line.

+1. Though to be fair, what else is she going to do? She doesn’t have any real skills. She’s not even a good politician.

Her snide mannerisms and glasses scream Fairfax Karen, but her fashion and BMI scream Spotsylvania mother of 5.

This is what her constituents need to understand: she sees herself first and foremost as a foot soldier for the Democratic party, and is only as enabled as her constituents allow her to feel. She cares more about pushing her party's agenda than she does about those who voted her in. VOTE SANDY OUT IN 2027!

I think she was bombarded with emails from HV parents….

Whenever these people pretend to care about efficiency or overcrowding remember it’s the same crowd that expanded West Potomac to 3000 seats and is budgeting over $80M for the unnecessary school at Dunn Loring. There isn’t an honest bone in their bodies.

It is, in fact, not the same people. The majority of that Board and leadership administration is gone. I agree expanding West Potomac was a significant error.
I firmly believe this new Board and leadership would not have allowed that WP expansion to pass, evidenced by how they continue to impede even Ricardy's goals for Glasgow. It seems this board is done with the one-off favors to individual schools.

It is some of the same members, and others all from the same party (and in some cases the hand-picked successors of former members). And they went ahead earlier this month and gave Ricardy what she wanted.

Ha. One of the best things I’ve read on DCUM. So accurate and good.

She’s being honest and not promising things she can’t deliver, which you’d also complain about. But go on.

I’m not complaining. I’m making observations. Clearly you don’t know the difference. But go on.

Ok, champ.

This was hashed out over 400 pages in a thread that was shutdown, but in a nutshell, HVES is closer to 3 other high schools than Lewis (WSHS, SoCo and Lake Braddock). It would be shocking if they reasoned HVES when WSES is so much closer to Lewis and a chunck of that school used to attend Lewis.

Have you ever considered the grown up option of not reading message threads that trigger you or have no relevance to your life?

That would be much more adult and practical than pitching a fit that others want to discuss important topics to their community, or demanding that the moderator shuts down other people's discussions.

As the pro sex themed graphic novels in elementary school crowd likes to say, if you don't like it, don't read it.

Go watch the July 18 meeting and tell me that Sandy Anderson has anything but complete disdain for members of her community. She was shaking with hatred at her constituents. I encourage you to go watch it.
