100,000 federal jobs shipped out of DC and reclassify 50,000 civil servants.

I am not sure why people want Trump lackeys looking at meat processing plants of their GOP donors to make sure the facilities are clean, or lackeys approving drugs for medical use, or lackeyes sitting in air traffic control towers.

But hey, we will get the government we deserve after this election, so its all good.

in a nutshell, because they are stupid like s$it. like my ILs, who are doing perfectly ok, including getting SS, getting federal subsidies not to farm their land (they would not farm it anyway as they all have jobs), doing well in general economically, but are all livid about being ravaged by taxes (??????) to pay for illegals' lavish benefits (also they feel they are persecuted in their faith as white Christian and cannot say Marry Christmas anymore). my only consolation in this awful situation is that at the end these idiots who propped up a radical right wing, incompetent and dishonest candidate and likely future president will end up paying the price. he will make the bidding of the various Peter Thiel, Musk, Koch brothers and the little people who voted for him will be squashed. even Vance talks the good talk, but he and his wife went to Yale and his kids will go to Yale as well as legacies, kicking out the deserving kids of his voters. I am sure the voters will still say it was the Dems' fault and Biden and Obama and the welfare queen.

I see this as a bit of a Sam Brownback Moment. They'll get what they want and find out that's not exactly what they wanted.

Koch brothers are against Trump because he doesn't support their open borders corporate agenda.

Yup this is my ILs too, minus the farm subsidy bit. And then there’s my LEO BIL who went around telling everyone in 2016 that HRC wanted to take away all guns from cops.

Also the USG can save a lot of money by lowering the pay for federal workers once they are allowed to relocate out of the expensive DC metro area.

Let them telework from wherever they want to live and the USG can also reduce their salaries to account for the lower cost of living.

It's a win-win.

Or fire them and replace them with contractors who won’t have the same benefits. That way they can upscale or downscale the workforce as jobs become more and more automated.

Seems like a win win for the American taxpayer.

sure, sounds great, why should we keep educated people who developed expertise when we can just pay a revolving door of contractors to keep costs down. look at Boeing, it worked so well for them going for the bottom line..... ( /s just in case it was not clear as there are so many nutjobs around that somebody may even think i am serious)

LOL. This isn't about streamlining the work force or making housing more affordable or any of that happy horseshit. This is about reshaping the federal work force into a MAGA-only bureaucracy, loyal only to Trump.

Trump hotels use illegal immigrants. True story.

This! DC will become affordable again.

Affordable for who with what jobs? You people can't think more than 2 seconds into the future. Home prices would only come down if the area became less desirable, dumb dumb.

Those people you want to take good jobs from, and turn them into contracting gigs with no benefits, those are American taxpayers too. If we downscale the whole workforce and gut the jobs of their benefits, it's American workers that suffer.

You either don't actually care about American workers or you're too stupid to understand how any of this works.

And agencies can hardly get qualified workers now. Where do you think contractors are going to come from?

Enjoy the depression these policies will almost certainly cause. We live and die together, like it or not. You can't gut one of the most affluent economies in the country without consequences. Trump and his cronies will get rich, and everyone else will suffer. But hey, you got to own the libs, so I guess it's worth it.

These people who have so much time to troll online on Monday are clearly unemployed. Retired? I’ll look forward to when their social security checks start getting lost in mail.
