omg. 26 BMI assuming good diet and exercise is healthy; likely healthier than BMI 20 as you age. I’m 26.5 and my lipids and BP and a1c are perfect and I’m adding weight to my deadlift every month.

It's not a sharp cutoff, but the cutoff for what is considered healthy is 24.9. Of course a body builder will be over that but most of us aren't body builders. Adding weights as you age is just plain smart. It helps fight osteoporosis. However, being a higher BMI brings other risks. You may not see them now, but you will.
