For goodness sake, my BMI is 25 and I’m a size 8. What world are people living in? |
8 is a 14 of non vanity sizes. |
Umm, only one person in that gallery is muscular. The rest are in fact fat. |
It might not be overweight, but it's definitely could lose 15 lbs. |
she looks extremely fit. get glasses. I’m 5lbs from BMI 27 and I need to lose 15lbs but I’m not “huge.” |
Yep, healthy for a fat person. Enjoy it because you're on borrowed time. |
Fat, not obese. |
omg. 26 BMI assuming good diet and exercise is healthy; likely healthier than BMI 20 as you age. I’m 26.5 and my lipids and BP and a1c are perfect and I’m adding weight to my deadlift every month. |
I think they're all chubby. I wouldn't say obese though, just fat. |
Ideal body is 18-22 bmi |
It's not a sharp cutoff, but the cutoff for what is considered healthy is 24.9. Of course a body builder will be over that but most of us aren't body builders. Adding weights as you age is just plain smart. It helps fight osteoporosis. However, being a higher BMI brings other risks. You may not see them now, but you will. |
