Jane Seymour, Adrienne Barbeau, Cheryl Teigs, Donna Mills, all had children in their 50s. All of these kids are now grown up many Ivy League educated and doing just fine. Age is a construct and fluid. It is a mindset. |
| What a present from the Lord. 💙 |
God doesn’t exist, hon |
Nothing could be as bad as Raddix. Sounds like the kid was born wearing an Ed Hardy shirt. |
Celebrity Bridget Nielsen recently had a child at 54. Janet Jackson, Hilary Swank, Chloe Savigny, Lucy Lou, supermodel Naomi, Campbell, I believe even Meghan Markle was almost 40 when she had her first child , and countless others recently had their first children in their 40s or 50s. |
Almost 40 and over 50 are vastly vastly different. How can you even compare them? |
Agreed. The person summing up "40 to 50 year old child bearing" as one block of time is clearly not 50. At 40 I might as well have been 25. I looked about the same and certainly felt the same. Now at 49 I look and feel entirely different. Same with all my friends. We're all trim and healthy and eat well and exercise daily and do maintenance and all that but we're markedly older. |
I have to agree with this - and this goes for men too. Really, really not ideal to have kids much older than early 40s. You are upping the odds of cheating the kids out of parents at a much young(er) age than their peers. I mean, I guess kid would rather have been born than not, but still would really suck to lose your parents early (ie. kid is in your 20s, parent dies in their 70s (or even earlier) - not an unlikely thing). |
They have a bird theme..his cousin is named Sparrow. |
Are you familiar with the concept of, exception that proves the rule? |
Beautiful with that context. |
All except Meghan were 46 plus when they had there first, actually most 50 plus. |
| Sounds like an "oops" blessing? |
I think it was a paid present from the surrogate, not an imaginary sky fairy. |
