The alternative is Harris, she’s one heartbeat away from the presidency and it’s a scary thought. Really scary.

We can’t have another four years of a president that isn’t mentally competent enough to even be charged or indicted (that’s according to the Biden DOJ).

Biden is more effective in his sleep than Trump and all the Republicans in Congress combined because he sets an agenda and delegates authority to the appropriate officials to carry it out. Republicans apparently think Trump saying stupid shit all day every day is leadership.

I don’t recall cities being overrun with unvetted illegals (as Joe calls them) when Trump was in office.

Do you live in a city? That isn’t happening.

+1, or how about the economic scoreboard. Oh yeah, you don't want to talk about the record employment and job growth under Biden, the best economic recovery of ANY developed country coming out of the pandemic or the many, many strong domestic bills he's passed that benefit the middle class. Or, let me remind you, the lack of scandals to come out of this administration. Remember how many cabinet level or white house staff personnel resigned or were fired under duress during the Trump administration? Total and complete disaster. But don't take my word for it. You can listen to John Kelly or many of Trump's former staffers. But yeah, I guess they're all wrong. It can't be that Trump's the problem. No never. It's always someone else.

Bill Mahr should have been taken off the air a long time ago. In fact all of these late night men suck. I miss Trevor Noah. Every one else are has-beens— they just aren’t funny.

Kimmel is attractive, but not that funny.

The dads in scouts make me laugh more than these men with unprepared material.

You mean rapid inflation and real wages lower in 2024 than they were in 2000? You mean the Hunter Biden and Biden Crime Family cash for influence? You mean the 7+ million illegal migrants across a border while the administration fiddles and doesn't care?

Ok.... I'd love what you're drinking.

Lack of scandals? LOL.
Benefit the middle class? Another LOL.
Record employment and job growth? Mostly foreign born workers and part time positions. Not anything to write home about.

And, if you want to talk about it always being "someone else," let's talk about Joe.
I remember one of his tweets during the campaign....
"Here’s my promise to you: If I’m elected president, I will always choose to unite rather than divide.
I’ll take responsibility instead of blaming others.
I’ll never forget that the job isn’t about me — it’s about you."

All BS. He has done nothing BUT divide. And, he has yet to take responsibility for any of his disasters.

I like Maher at times, but he’s a “both sides” prick who makes well-to-do white guys feel good about themselves. He’s become a lot more hack’y over the years in his comedy as he tries to appeal to Joe Rogan bros. The guy hates Trump for the botched coup with the passion of 10K suns, but he has to keep the Rogan bros watching lest they call Maher a “libt#rd” and stop watching.

In an effort to stay relevant, he may just give enough of his viewers the permission they crave to vote for Trump, which Maher himself admits will be a disaster. He’s playing with fire, imho.

I mean, you hit your Maga Bingo Card talking points. But that's all your post is. Blathering on with zero substance or factual support.

Maher is no Jon Stewart but there are still plenty of people that think he is funny because he is. Most of us appreciate entertainers that aren't afraid to tell it like it is in a satirical way. The people that can't handle the truth and/or don't appreciate humor aren't forced to watch.

Rogan voted for Bernie and Maher donated $1M to Obama’s campaign. How much did you donate? Oh wait, you should probably shut your mouth and stop acting like an authoritarian who attacks anyone who isn’t 100% on your side 100% of the time.

I can’t stand brainwashed sheep with no intellectual curiosity or critical thinking skills. SMH.

Unfortunately—and I think this is truly unfortunate—Jon Stewart has become so painfully unfunny now that Maher is actually funnier now, and that’s a very low standard.

lol wut? I’m allowed to criticize Maher for p#ssyfooting with Trump apologists, which many of his guests are.

Also, Maher donated to Obama nearly two decades ago. That’s a lifetime ago.

No doubt these comedians are important translators of national news. I saw a poll once (7+ years ago) that a large number of people get most all of their policy/political information from satire and late night comics.

Maybe my kids have failed to show me, but these comedians haven’t done a great job of building new viewership.

My kids watch terrible slapped-together material on YouTube. My kids can name Joe Rogen (they think he is ridiculous but enjoy his controversy enough to mention it to me) but they can’t name any of the late night dudes.

What gives?

+1. thank you.

Biden deserves to be attacked. His results (and the ideologues surrounding him) are terrible. Last time it was this bad, Jimmy Carter lost re-election.
