The system has one job; to protect itself. The DNC will tap Biden on the shoulder and say time to go.

Biden is the incumbent President. No one taps the incumbent President on the shoulder and tells him to step aside.

No. But, they do tell him when he can and can't take questions......
Pathetic.

Would you rather our 81 year old president just speak off the cuff and answer any questions as he pleases when he is in public? Careful what you wish for.

If he cannot handle questions from a friendly crowd - the DNC headquarters in New Hampshire - he really is not capable of being president and making the tough decisions that comes with the job.

Too funny - someone actually did try and ask a question and they cut it off. Very telling.

Obviously he is not as capable of being president as we'd like but we're stuck with him through January 2025 and we're better off being stuck with him than stuck with Trump.

Translation: "Bill Maher used to be great when he was just as far-left as I am. Now that he has no problem calling out idiocy on BOTH the left and the right, he's dead to us 'progressives'."

Joe was far left?

Wow - where has this Joe Biden gone?! He even advocated for attacking the cartels *where they live* by using a strike force. And yet, when DeSantis suggested this, he was mocked mercilessly by DCUM's finest.

If this isn’t a deep fake this is amazing.

Definitely AI

Awww. You two are so pathetically cute. This was indeed Joe Biden, though I wonder if he'd even recognize himself now.

He has been a professional politician for five decades. Of course he has flip flopped on many policy positions. Who cares? Our primary concerns with he and Trump are related to their mental health statuses going forward, Policy positions are secondary concerns with elderly presidential candidates.

Yes, correct, Captain Obvious I was fine with him before, and now he’s dead to me. Amazing how you were able to figure that out based on me saying pretty much the same thing in my post. Wow, you’re like a genius.

Talk about throwing tantrums! ^^

These twits can't bear seeing what Joe Biden used to be compared to what he currently is.

NP. You can’t even understand a sardonic insult when it smacks you in the head. This is embarrassing for you.

Anonymous wrote:I think what people don’t realize is that in a world where Joe Rogan is getting more popular and powerful by the day, comedians like Maher will rise, and comedians like Stewart will fall. It doesn’t help Stewart that he is coming off increasingly strident and unwilling to poke whatsoever at sacred shibboleths of the left (the Stewart of old would never have been so muted). So, Maher is essentially moving into the role that Stewart used to occupy but doesn’t any more, as Americans in general move away from extremism on both sides.

Joe Rogan is popular because he comes across as likeable and not insane, and not in the pocket of an individual political party. Maher is popular for the same reason. Stewart gained fame and popularity for that reason, but his recent run is so blindly partisan that it looks like he won’t be able to continue that course.

Completely agree.

Policy positions are secondary concerns when grading Trump and Biden as presidential candidates. The primary concerns are related to their mental health statuses going forward.

You'd certainly be singing his praises if he was fawning all over Biden. Which, to his credit, he's not.
