TLP is not conservative. It is very much a Democrat run group.
Republicans want nothing to do with them.

Actually it contains highly educated conservatives who are committed to rule of law and the constitution … they want to reclaim their party to traditional conservative ideas rather than cult worship of DT …

The Lincoln Project is a centrist American political action committee (PAC) founded in December 2019 by moderate conservatives and former Republican Party members who oppose Trumpism and 45th U.S. president Donald Trump. During the 2020 presidential election, it aimed to prevent the re-election of president Donald Trump, and to defeat incumbent Republican candidates running for re-election who had been loyalists to Trump. In April 2020, the committee endorsed Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden. As of 2023, the committee is focused on preventing the non-consecutive re-election of Trump in the 2024 presidential election.

My primary quibble with the Lincoln people is that they were essentially Frankenstein. All their prior political work helped create the GOP, and thus Donald Trump, as we know them. I mean I’m glad that they support Biden and oppose Trump, but I’d like to see some self critical thinking and remorse for their part in it all.

Republican Voters Against Trump
Donald Trump is not representative of the Republican Party that I fell in love with.”
These are Republicans, former Republicans, conservatives, and former Trump voters who can’t support Trump for president this fall.

So think it’s terrible they used Paul Harvey’s voice for this. Not right.

Who is "they" here? It was terrible that "God created Trump" used Paul Harvey's voice. But once they did it was fair game for the LP to parody it.

Bizarre the original pro Trump one was not tongue in cheek - read like 1950s Cold War era propaganda … It was so far removed from reality, that it was a joke waiting to be told.

That man is the least Christian leader I know (apart from Putin who also purports to be motivated by promoting conservative Christian values). They both have violated most of the Ten Commandments repeatedly.

What is your party affiliation?

Are you a conservative?

DP...what do you mean by "conservative?"

Conservative used to mean "family values" "peace through strength abroad" and "law and order"

Today, it means none of those things, but rather supplication to Donald Trump.

So when you ask, "are you a conservative" if you mean like John McCain and Ronald Reagan, that would be very different than Donald Trump and Marge Greene.

More like the anti christ … definitely a false prophet with no integrity ever …

David had integrity when he was younger and was a self made man. Trump was born with a fake silver spoon in his mouth to millionaire racist NY slum lords … fitting he is now a fake man of the people …

Your comment seems to rely on a subjective interpretation. Yes, they are all basically democrats now. But it was started by prominent republican consultants who defected. It wasn't stated by people with a background in democratic politics. They all worked at high levels of campaigns, many of them in Bush campaigns and/or the McCain campaign.

This isn't a defense of them. I don't like the Lincoln Project. Steve Schmidt, in particular, did a lot to radicalized the GOP and then he left because it was radical. That's fine, he's welcome to do that, but he was involved in a lot of the things (eg, introducing Sarah Palin into the conservative psyche) that set us on the path we are now on. I'm of the "you break if, you buy it" philosophy and think he should have stayed and then steered towards better choices vs sitting smugly on the sidelines, judging the circus he hired.

This is probably all true but I give them credit for coming to their senses eventually.

They tried to stand up for the rule of law and constitution which few republican leaders are doing.
