God Created a Dictator - Lincoln Project video

Not sure whether this belongs in entertainment or religion but the Lincoln Project is primarily political …

Here is the recent Lincoln Project “God made a dictator” parody ..,
https://youtu.be/xOi2cYz5nXE?si=k4RISUkIeLpaGt3l

The LP appears to be in response to Trump sharing fan made video propaganda declaring that God sent him to deliver America from the Deep State (with claims he works 100 hour weeks and attends church regularly while no evidence for either). Attacking critics in social media does not count as work.

TLP is not conservative. It is very much a Democrat run group.
Republicans want nothing to do with them.

The Lincoln Project describes its members as “dedicated Americans protecting democracy.” Their actions are those of attention-seeking traitors who raise millions from gullible liberals and then pull inexpensive stunts so they can pay themselves as much of the money as possible. In 2020, after the pedophile scandal involving co-founder John Weaver, the group came under fire again involving its finances. The New York Times reported the group sneakily moved $27 million in donations, a sum that represented about a third of its total fundraising efforts, to the consulting firm of one of the founders. There were also numerous stories of infighting over finances.

Inside the Lincoln Project’s Secrets, Side Deals and Scandals
A civil war broke out in the group as it antagonized Donald Trump, with leaders splintering over financial arrangements and revelations of online harassment by a top official.

John Weaver, founder of the Lincoln Project:

Sexual harassment allegations

In January 2021, responding to a magazine article accusing him of sexual misconduct spanning a period of years, Weaver acknowledged having sent inappropriate, unsolicited sexual messages to 21 men, for which he apologized.[21][22] According to The New York Times, Weaver offered young men professional support in exchange for sex; that report also accused him of cultivating a non-sexual online relationship with a 14-year-old boy and then engaging in "sexual banter" with him after his 18th birthday.[23] Speaking to Axios, Weaver said, "The truth is that I'm gay and that I have a wife and two kids who I love. My inability to reconcile those two truths has led to this agonizing place."[7] Following the revelations, The Lincoln Project said "John's statement speaks for itself".[1] It later issued a follow-up describing him as "a predator, a liar, and an abuser", and denouncing his "deplorable and predatory behavior".[21] In February 2021, The Lincoln Project announced plans for an external investigation to review Weaver's conduct during his tenure with the group.[24]

John Weaver, a longtime G.O.P. operative who advised John McCain and John Kasich, made sexual overtures to young men, sometimes offering to help them get work in politics.

John Weaver, a longtime Republican strategist and co-founder of the prominent anti-Trump group the Lincoln Project, has for years sent unsolicited and sexually provocative messages online to young men, often while suggesting he could help them get work in politics, according to interviews with 21 men who received them.

His solicitations included sending messages to a 14-year-old, asking questions about his body while he was still in high school and then more pointed ones after he turned 18.

Mr. Weaver sent overt sexual solicitations to at least 10 of the men and, in the most explicit messages, offered professional and personal assistance in exchange for sex. He told one man he would “spoil you when we see each other,” according to a message reviewed by The New York Times. “Help you other times. Give advice, counsel, help with bills. You help me … sensually.”

Interviews with the 21 young men, as well as a review of screenshots of dozens of messages he sent them over the last five years, show that his online behavior was in many cases aggressive and unwanted.

Cole Trickle Miele was 14 when he followed Mr. Weaver on Twitter in 2015 and quickly received a direct message from him. At first, he did not think anything was amiss.
“I remember being a 14-year-old kid interested in politics and being semi-starstruck by John Weaver engaging in a conversation with me,” said Mr. Trickle Miele, now 19. At the time, he supported the Republican Party and was a fan of Mr. Kasich, the Ohio governor whom Mr. Weaver was helping prepare to join the presidential race.

But as the messages kept coming, he became uncomfortable.

In June 2018, Mr. Weaver asked, “Are you in HS still?” — referring to high school — and Mr. Trickle Miele said that he was, and that he would be 18 the next spring. “You look older,” Mr. Weaver replied. “You’ve gotten taller.”

In March 2020, when Mr. Trickle Miele was 18, Mr. Weaver wrote, “I want to come to Vegas and take you to dinner and drinks and spoil you!!,” and in a follow-up message used a term that in sexual banter refers to one’s body: “Hey my boy! resend me your stats! or I can guess! if that is easier or more fun!”

In at least two cases, Mr. Weaver offered young men work with the Lincoln Project while sending suggestive messages.

Tell me why an organization with this track record has any credibility?

Pennsylvania House Democrats for the first time have acknowledged that the caucus knew about a sexual harassment allegation against state Rep. Mike Zabel (D., Delaware) in 2019, several years before similar claims became public, leading the lawmaker to announce his resignation.

The lobbyist, Andi Perez, recently told her story publicly for the first time. Three other people, including two sitting GOP lawmakers, have also come forward, leading Zabel to announce he will resign.

A spokesperson for state House Democrats at first declined to answer questions about what leadership knew in 2019. Then, on Friday, a spokesperson said “the caucus was informed of an incident regarding Rep. Zabel” that year.

Actually it contains highly educated conservatives who are committed to rule of law and the constitution … they want to reclaim their party to traditional conservative ideas rather than cult worship of DT …

The Lincoln Project is a centrist American political action committee (PAC) founded in December 2019 by moderate conservatives and former Republican Party members who oppose Trumpism and 45th U.S. president Donald Trump. During the 2020 presidential election, it aimed to prevent the re-election of president Donald Trump, and to defeat incumbent Republican candidates running for re-election who had been loyalists to Trump. In April 2020, the committee endorsed Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden. As of 2023, the committee is focused on preventing the non-consecutive re-election of Trump in the 2024 presidential election.

Not true - many Republicans who have left the current cult group that the RP has become would return if the party returned to upholding the constitution and democracy while articulating conservative positions in rational effective ways .

No one should be above the law.

Also Christians who take their faith seriously are appalled by DT’s exploitation of religion for cynical political purposes when he is the least Christian leader we have ever had. He is the antithesis of Corinthians 13.

.. the sad part about this is that it is not true. I have family member who definitely take their Christian faith seriously .. but also love Trump ... I know this makes no sense, other than it is a cult

The people who need to see Lincoln project videos are not going to view them, so I’m not sure how effective the organization is.

Their ads have not been proven to move people off Trump. If anything it gets his supporters to dig in.

Great video. But it's not going to make a difference.
