Never would I want a daughter to be part of this garbage.

SMU is in Texas land that hates women. Great college choice. NO

Texas is not safe for any women much less college students. Where do you think your kid is getting a job after SMU? LOL parents wasted monies.

The SMU network is extremely strong. That is not a concern.

The other stuff, sure.

Exactly. Complain about politics all you want, but getting a good job after graduating from SMU is not a problem. At all. Texas is booming, and SMU has an amazing alumni network. DCUMites can be the most parochial people on the planet.

It’s a top 100 school with a top 50 business program. Texas is booming and so is Dallas. SMU outplacement is fantastic. Please do some research before opening your mouth about things upon which you know nothing.

When you grow up and use language more meaningful than “gag me,” people might start listening to you. Maybe.

Its a decent school, attracts mostly B and C students who can't get into UT, A&M or Rice but some A students come for financial aid or merit scholarships.

Not true. But, I’m guessing you haven’t been to an admissions visit and seen the ACTUAL student admission numbers. If you’re going to open your mouth, at least be educated on what you’re talking about.

Acceptance rate is 53% so almost every other applicant is admitted, even though not that many apply due to high cost and party culture.
Anonymous
Less than 17% of accepted students enroll compared to UT Austin, Rice and A&M where yield rate is 45-55%.

You're very ugly, on the inside. They're a bunch of young women who are joining organizations which raise up women. I'm sorry for you that you've never experienced something like that.

These girls are wearing sneakers that cost $1k, jewelry that totals $5k and up, some very pricey outfits too. I don't get it - I have a very healthy household income and my college kid wears clothes from Target and LLBean.

UMC and MC students have a tough time during rush at SMU or UT. It's not impossible, but it's definitely a rich kid's world.
