Spallina only played at Presidents Cup. And they played in a VERY easy bracket. Guessing they use a minimum number of games to include in rankings. |
| The coach of the Capital 25 also coached the 2017 Capital team that was the number 1 in the country as well. He is an excellent coach. Same assistant coach the whole time as well. |
I believe the magic number is 6 to get included in the rankings. |
| It’s not clear on the website |
|
I think its spelled out spelled out pretty clearly it's 6 games minimum and the number of games required will increase to 12 games by the end of the summer club season in July. read for yourself.
https://usclublax.com/newsDisplay.php?news_id=158 "HOW DO THE RANKINGS WORK? A team must meet the 6-games played (increases to 12 games come July) against the same age level minimum requirement in order to appear in the USCLUBLAX rankings based on their rating. Elgible games run form September 2023 to the end of July 2024." |
| All three Capital Blue age groups in top 16. Can’t say the same for every club in Baltimore. Way to go! |
| 27 Blue will move up quick. Should be closer to 10 now. They beat Skywalkers twice already and SW is 12? A couple other overrated teams above them as well. It will shake out this spring/summer. |
|
Wow. One club team beats another, give them a trophy. No one cares about wins and loses except overzealous parents.
Guess you missed the memo of what club is really all about. |
“Every Baltimore club”? Not all are created equal; this sounds so desperate. And being in top 5 is way different than squeaking in at 16. At least for ‘26 there is a big gap watching the top teams play compared to the bottom portion. |
I'm asking this genuinely -- did Skywalkers play more games against tougher teams? If so, that's why they are higher even though Cap Blue beat them. US Club Lax considers strength of schedule in their formula. |
Capital's schedule says they officially played SW Blue once, not twice. |
| once was a play day scrimmage |
Got it, thank you. |
It’s most likely because SW made the bracket at Level 9 and was able to play (and beat) some good teams like Steps NJ and Mass Elite. Their SOS got a boost. Capital is still probably 2-3 goals better than SW. |
| Cap 27 Blue is ranked where they should be. SOS was very weak. They played a cupcake schedule for the most part. The only halfway decent team they beat was Skywalkers and Skywalkers isn't even a top 10 team. They got waxed by the only two legit teams they played - Eagle Stix and M&D. |
