| I wear it all the time but i am a guy. i didn't realize this bothers people |
| As long as they are about knee length |
My mom was the same. Whatever she's comfortable with must be the only way for everyone too. OP reminded me of mom. |
|
It is not weird. I don't do it because I get cold on airplanes.
I don't understand what the objection to it would be. |
|
OP, why is it weird?
I don't think it's weird at all. |
| Brrr. Why would you? |
This and it’s often freezing. But my son wears shorts in almost any weather and also on the plane. As do many other people from what I have seen |
| Yes, gross. |
| No, i would not. |
Yup - this is me. The thought of sitting on a plane with shorts makes my skin crawl. But my DS is adamant about wearing shorts on a plane, so... that's fine. Whatever. He showers that day anyway. |
| Yes, as long as he isn't one to spread his legs over the line between the seats or the person sitting next to him is only you. |
| I don't think it's weird, but I won't do it. I always wear capris. My DH and DD have worn shorts. |
|
Why is this even a dispute?!
Are you weirdly controlling? |
|
I am a guy and I normally wear shorts anytime I can. I am warm anytime the temp is over about 70 degrees. And frequently when the plane is at the gate or before the engines go on, the AC doesn't work and it gets really warm.
Why other people's clothing and comfort are any of your business is beyond me. What's weird is caring what other people wear, especially when traveling, when you need to be comfortable when trapped in an enclosed space for hours. |
|
As long as the are knee length shorts be your skin isn't touching that seta, I think it's fine.
I would never want skin in contact with seats that probably haven't been cleaned in eons. It would be like wearing short shorts and sitting down on the Metro. |
