14 YO wears mostly lululemon. The business casual/golf style they have. |
Your middle schooler wears jeans? |
Not same PP but my middle schooler wears jeans not in summer but during school year |
NP. Mine wears them in summer. Drives me crazy. |
Do most MS boys actually care about brands & fashion?
My riding 9th grader wears athletic shorts or pants and t-shirts. Sneakers, but could not care less about the brand of the shoes or anything else. |
Wow, I haven't seen a middle school age boy wearing jeans in many years. |
Now it is jorts |
I guess you don’t hang around many middle schoolers |
I have a 17 yo, 14 yo and 12 yo. |
Rising 8th grade boy is wearing a lot of floral shorts this summer. Not sure where that came from. Reminds me of “Jams” from the 90s. |
Mine wears adidas or Nike sneakers, athletic shorts or jogger pants in winter, and t shirts and hoodies. He does often wear t shirts with stuff on them though — college names, places we’ve visited, or anime but he has one of two with just other random designs. He asked me to buy him a pair of khaki shorts recently which made me think there might be a trend towards occasionally dressing a little nicer? He also has some polo shirts made out of athletics material that he will occassaipbally wear.
I don’t think his friends are very brand conscious but for whatever reason Skechers is considered extremely uncool. |
My DH just bought my MS DS shorts that has a light shorts liner built into the shorts. So, I guess he'll be wearing underwear, the shorts liner, and then the shorts. He's not going commando. That's a lot of layers but seems to be the thing. |
DP and I have not seen any wearing jeans either. But I also haven’t seen any middle school boys wearing Lululemon and a poster suggested that. My daughter and her friends wear it all of the time. My son and his friends would not wear lululemon or jeans. |
What do they wear? |
DP. Joggers. Only joggers. I actually make my boys wear jeans once a week. Just so they remain familiar with the feel of clothing that's not joggers. |
