Chinese government goes full on blood and soil

LOL Korea and Japan are frosty with each other most of the time, never mind China.

Its amazing what a common enemy can do for relations. The US in its drive to start WWIII somewhere, by any means before China supplants it is causing a global realignment. The fact that the US also forces unnatural cultural practices on its client states is also alienating allies. Just look how quick the Saudis and Iranians reconciled. That enmity is much deeper and goes much farther back than anything in East-Asia.

I mean holy crap, they had to flood the Yangtze River to stop the Japs from invading and it killed 30,000,000+ people in the worst disaster caused by humans in history. Of course all you're taught about is the Holocaust, but the Chinese received a similar fate and even worse in many regards. Every bad guy on Chinese media is Japanese these days.

The thing with china is, this could change overnight if CCP decides that it's better to focus the people 's animosity towards the west vs Japan. People who believe otherwise are underestimating the ability of the CCP to manipulate public sentiment.

Americans are relatively straightforward people. We say what we mean and we mean what we say. Other cultures, including chinese people, are accustomed to saying one thing publicly and meaning another, to saying one thing while believing something else. "Public sentiment" isn't what is in people's hearts and minds.

How is Biden being straight forward with China?

Considering the birth rates in east Asia, a lot of current dynamics among the countries will change in a couple of centuries

Oh again with the cultural argument. Saudi Royals live it up abroad, and domestically their cultural practices are just as locked up as ever. Meanwhile Shiites and Sunnis are just as divided as ever.

Saudis and Iran are making up because Iran needs friends due to sanctions, and the Saudis want them to stop funding the proxy war in Yemen. Everybody except Israel praised the deal, US included.

Liberals pushed too far. Now the pendulum is swinging the other way.

Should have left the porn out of schools in the first place, hmm?

.

Stop making stuff up, there was never a porn book in school. If there was, we kids would have found it and it would have been the most popular book in school!

Name the book and which schools carried it?

I am more concerned with these trump supporting clowns. They are much more of a threat. I don't see the Chinese government chanting "blood and soil" the way trump loving racists do every day.

I'm not worried about MAGA as much as I'm worried about what the CCP is doing on our own soil

Days after the Biden administration took office, a Chinese delagation came to Alaska and lectured us. One of the highlites was them stating 'the U.S. does not speak from a position of strength.' Blinken swallowed.

Remember, this was after Covid, which THEY created.

They've been stealing our intellectual property for 25 years. Nevermind the balloons or threatening countries around tbe South China Seas, which takes a large portion of the Pacific, not the 12 mile/200 mile norms of the oceans. They're quite open about destroying the U.S. dollar.

What's being done about it? What are you waiting for? "Taking a knee" is not an acceptable answer.
