Natural appetite suppressant?

Lots and lots of raw celery when you are hungry. Along with hot tea. These will fill you up with few calories.

As others have said, up your fiber. So many health benefits and most people don't get enough fiber. I've found that psyllium husk powder and inulin gummies really help me, along with whole wheat bread and lots of nuts. Your poops will be beautiful and you won't be as hungry. Start slow though.

Here is the thing (meditation poster again). If you try to fill yourself up with low calorie foods every time you feel hungry, you're not learning if you're really hungry or just craving, and you're not being mindful.

In short, you will STILL always be thinking about food.

Just my last two cents here.

If you're trying to keep from mindless snacking, the only thing that works for me is a menthol-lyptus cough drop. It makes alcohol taste awful too.

Has anyone tried anything that worked?

Sugar free mint gum helps me. Also having all sorts of zero sugar drinks.

High fat foods take away my thinking about food. Carbs make me always hungry. I've realized that eating carbs makes one part of my body think I have eaten but the other part says I didn't get the nutrients I need and then some biological urge takes over where I want to stuff my face.

I HAVE to start my day with a couple of eggs or I'm ravenous by noon. At noon (or whenever I get hungry) I eat full fat yogurt with chia seeds and a dash of jam or honey and some granola, ideally with nuts.

The whole "low fat" thing was terrible for me. I was constantly hungry, shaky even on low fat foods.

Now, if I want to lose weight, I eat high fat foods (yogurt, cheese, nuts, meat) as soon as I think I think about food. Eventually my body starts to realize that it won't starve and the fixation on food goes away.

I used to follow a keto diet but recently switched to a more moderate fat/moderate protein/low carb diet. I now have 40-50% of my diet as protein and it's amazing how much more full I feel. I'm with the other folks who've said upping your protein will make you feel fuller.
