Do conservatives want to ban transgenderism for the same reasons they want to ban abortion?

Do you know what percentage of the population identifies as transgender? This is nonsense.

I don't understand your question. I'm answering OP's question and affirming that this is a concern among anti trans surgery advocates. Matt Walsh received the "homophobe of the year" award and therefore qualifies as a leading voice, and he specifically cites eugenics, birthrate, etc in his arguments.

Assuming you are just looking for more clarification, I'll offer that he thinks that pro trans advocates are marketing to kids and we will see increasing rates of trans identification. He also describes trans surgery on children as part of a wider agenda on the left to reduce birth by reducing marriage and birth rates, increase abortion, and then sterilize as many kids as possible through hormones and surgery.

And he would be right because the number of kids that identify as trans is below .6% which is the percentage of the adult population that is trans. The number of kids on puberty blockers is less than 2,000 and kids on hormones is around 15,000. That’s out of 73,000,000 kids. There should be over 400,000 trans kids statistically.

I don’t think there is anything wrong with it.

I’m not Christian. The PP is right. I speak from someone with experience, who has a kid groomed by an online therapist - my kid was just over 18.

These stats are not correct anymore. My own therapist works with groups of trans kids and said the .6% number is what SHOULD be but the rate now is many many times that. Said the group work is new and necessary after decades in practice as the numbers have jumped significantly and he can say with experience that not only are kids being groomed, but that the vast majority of trans people now is due to this grooming/

It’s all about enforcing gender roles where women are subservient to men. The genders must be clearly defined and men must control the relationship. Every iteration gets more abstract than the time before. First round is about women voting. Second round is about women having equal roles in society - owning property, having bank accounts, equal pay, etc. Third round is about accepting gay people into polite society. Now it’s politically unwise and socially unacceptable to fight those old battles directly. So you bash transgender people & indirectly try to push women back by taking away reproductive rights & making birth control harder to obtain.

Your therapist is wrong. The number of kids that identify as trans is in the tens of thousands but several hundred thousand will identify as trans in the coming decades.

Depends how you define “normal.” Is it more common than cisgender? No. Is there something objectionable about it? Also, no.

Normal: the usual, average, or typical state or condition.

That’s the real issue isn’t it? Someone has gender dysphoria and a strong desire to be the other gender. Because it’s outside the norm, some people think that these people shouldn’t be allowed to transition. Or as Christian’s put it, it’s something god gave you to struggle with and transition is a sin so don’t do it.

They weren’t a kid and they weren’t groomed.

My therapist has studied this extensively. The number has grown by leaps and bounds.

Without a doubt groomed - same therapist from NC tried it on a friend’s kid as well.

The first thing that happens is the groomer turns the kid against the parents. Separates them. Then they give the kid a childhood that never happened.

A close friend sent her depressed daughter to a therapist. 2 years on, my friend has a slightly less depressed son that is pumped full of puberty blockers.
