Actually, they ran towards the gunfire and neutralized him with a shot to the head.

Gun free zone means law abiding citizens were not carrying.

1. Practically nonexistent firearm laws
2. Huge population in 4-5 (arguably) major metro areas

This is going to result in some absolutely horrible mass shootings. It’s just the law of averages, given the huge size of the population.

Caveat emptor.

The mall was a gun-free zone, weird that criminals don’t follow rules

I thought more guns was supposed to make Texas safer than Chicago or California?

What does a gun-free zone mean to you? To me it means “don’t bring a gun here, do not open carry here”. And law abiding citizens follow those rules (not for long though, I’m sure).

You can be shot at your wealthy suburban elementary or high school, your private Christian school or Premium Outlets.

A child was missing its face. That is what these weapons of carnage do

And if you see a gun, you know it's a bad person and not some grandpa carrying his pistol.
In gun-free zones if I see anyone with a weapon I'm getting the hell out of there. When it's open carry everywhere. You don't know who the hell to trust

Your choice obvi. I would suggest you not trust the guy open-carrying a long gun?

The governor must have fears about his own survival. I think DeSantis does in FL.

I saw the pics and I agree. One photo included a dead child. I dare any one of the gun humpers that will eventually end up on this thread to take a look at the photo that includes a bloodied dead child and come back and report on it.

A lot of regular Republican and Republican-leaning voters are in favor of some gun control measures. Not as many as Democrats but there’s less daylight there than you might think. They, too, have kids in school, they go to parties and events, they worry about their safety just as much. The politicians and the conservative judiciary are way out of step with the voters on the gun control issue and it’s becoming a huge problem.

Conservative voters are going to quickly learn that Republican elites don’t give AF about them, their kids, or their schools. Gerrymandering and a rigged judiciary ensure that these Republican elites won’t be dislodged from power, even if they lose elections. We told ya so.

Does not sound like a Texas LE. They normally run away. It’s a conservatives value.

misdemeanor. Unless you consider who don't abide by traffic laws be criminals, too.
