This is always the line whenever a right winger does something bad. “None of us like him” is offered as if that’s an excuse. Notice you can’t just say “that’s a really inappropriate way to treat your spouse” and the collective you never appears to wonder why personality disorders are rife among your thought leaders.

Uh, I think.it goes without saying that it's abusive. It's weird that you think the blindingly obvious needs to be stated.

And on the contrary-- it isn't common at all for the GOP to throw people to the wolves. Normally you're complaining that people won't condemn other conservatives. Here, conservatives are the accusers. If you watch his response to the video, he explicitly says that it is fellow conservatives attacking him. So, no-- this isn't a scalp the left gets to claim. Conservatives have been coming for him very hard for months now.

He's completely unreasonable. His best friend offered him a 50M contract, but part of the contract had standard language that said that if Crowder stops having an audience or somehow stops bringing in money, the contract could be terminated. This made Crowder so incensed that he went on a warpath, against his friend, accusing him of offering a "slave contract". For $50M. https://www.rollingstone.com/politics/politics-news/steven-crowder-feuds-daily-wire-50-million-offer-1234664277/

It's really unsurprising he abused his wife and I wouldn't be remotely surprised if more people step forward with stories.

LMAOOOO there's some rich self-unaware irony of jerk Ben Shapiro ever making anyone else out to be a jerk.

That clip shows his wife going after him?

Huh? No, the clip shows him attacking his pregnant wife. He's a sociopath and, TBH comes off as very emotionally abusive. The thing about the gloves is that he wants his 8 month pregnant wife to give the dog medicine that could hurt the baby. He yells at her to wear gloves then. Meanwhile he's sitting there smoking a cigar.

No actually it doesn’t show an “attack” wtf. Hyperbole like that is a real disservice to people facing serious abuse. He’s a giant ahole and they both have communication issues. This clip is the result.

Watch the Vaush video. It's long but has more than a 10 second clip of it. It's clear that Crowder is abusive.

I agree. It is completely inappropriate for one spouse to want to take the only family car and state to the other “I’ll be back when I’m back”. If there’s one car, there should be a distinct timeframe so it can be shared properly.

The fact that there's only one car when they're living in a fricking mansion in Texas and he makes a lot of money with his right wing show is really just another example of his abuse towards her. Almost certainly he's in complete control of the finances and won't get another car so that he can control her movement.

You are speculating

Yet the only shorter clip released was her telling him she was taking the only car and will be back when she’s back. That seems to be the best this whole 30 minutes has to offer? The Vaush video was mostly Vaush.

Want to know what abuse looks like? Abuse is staying totally silent getting social services involved with your wife after lying to first year therapist that she beat one of the kids. Reason? You thought she might divorce you and take half the money - money that you were not placing in a joint account to begin with, while she was a SAH because one of your kids has chronic health issues. Didn’t work in the end (I lucked out and got a very good social services person) but I faced both jail time and loss of child custody if it had. Which of course, was the ultimate goal.

If he was truly abusive, there’s no way that conversation would have ever occurred.

Can't imagine why she'd want to divorce him/s

It’s done, they’re divorced. Steven came out and complained about no fault divorce and wants to change the law to make it so the man has to agree.

What a f*ing mysoginistic turd. I don't care if he didn't touch her, saying "I will f*ck you up" to your pregnant wife is sufficiently abusive and indicative of his complete aholeness.

Also to talk about "disciplining" his wife.... where in a modern, respected marriage full of family values does someone say they need to "discipline" their spouse?

I think he was saying that she should practice self discipline not that he would spank her or something.
