Never read the books. Enjoyed the series. Love to see how they pick it up after the finale. |
This really struck me too. |
Not sure how they can do much more with the story SPOILER There’s no where to go. The only hopeful thing is to stop the spying and be aware of their history. They would still need to limit the population growth. |
Spoiler question…
Why do they project a fake green world for the people who go out? |
I was wondering that too. Maybe so that they clean (someone suggested they clean to try to show people the “real” world)? Maybe so they don’t flip the f— out and try to scratch and claw their way back in? Maybe because someone hundreds of years ago thought it was either a nice way to go, or a funny gag to pull in someone dying, and this culture seems to follow a lot of stupid rules just because someone told them to hundreds of years ago? |
I read the books and the first season ended right when things started to get good in the books. I'm really excited for the second season. I won't spoil anything, but I will say that when I read the books, I found the story as a whole very interesting with a satisfying ending. |
They do it so that the people will clean. |
so there could be a season 2? |
I would hope so, the first season didn't even get through the first book and there are 3 books. The 1st and 3rd book follow Juliet's storyline and the second book goes back in time to the "founders" and explains how the Silos came to be. |
+2 Horrible. |
DP. This is what I'm interested in. As for season 1 finale, do we think Juliet will gain access to one of the other silos and let everyone know that there are dozens of other silos? Maybe the door at the bottom of the silo that was alluded to several times connects them to one another (via tunnels underground)? |
+1 |
And is there just one "coal mine" or are those shared? Where does the steam come from!? Please make season 2+. |
I didn't understand what the guy sitting in the cafeteria night after night was seeing and drawing. "Ws"? That was so unclear to me. |
He was drawing the stars. When the sky was clear the stars still came through on the screen. |
