How much do you drink - be honest

Usually one drink 4-5 nights a week or so. Sometimes two drinks in a night, sometimes none. I feel fine about it.

Probably 1-2 drinks at a time, 3-4 days per week. Usually 3 days lately. I tend to drink less when the days are shorter/when it's cold out. Something about the warm weather makes me want a beer or a glass of wine in the evenings. So it's probably closer to 5 days in the spring/summer/early fall. If I am going out somewhere like a concert or a party, I definitely drink more. That happens once a month or less. Hangovers really suck now at 40. I tend to drink less for a couple weeks after one of those big nights. I don't black out or anything, but the logical part of my brain that says "stop now or you will be hungover tomorrow" seems to turn off after 3 drinks. I feed off the energy of the concert/party and the people around me, and the fact that there's a bar where I can order whatever I want. At home I am too lazy to make cocktails, and there isn't enough going on to make me want to have more than 2 drinks at a time.

Glass of wine maybe 9-12 times per year? I quit drinking in college when I got an ulcer and I really just don’t see a need. If I’m out at a nice restaurant I may have a glass. Beer is too filling and I’ve never been a mixed drink gal, wait take that back, I love sangria. In the summer, if I’m out, I will order a sangria.

I almost never drink at home, never during the day and never alone.

Maybe 4-5 drinks per week, usually on the weekend. I don't drink on weeknights because it messes with my sleep and I wake up at 6am for work!

On average, a bottle of wine in a week, plus a couple of cocktails. Some weeks more, other weeks less.

I reexamined during Covid. I was OOC by then. Years before I would have 1-2 drinks of wine for dinner (didn’t bother with food) every night. To make myself feel better about it, I said I could only drink Fr-Su but all that did was allow me to consume a weeks worth of alcohol in 2.5 days. And then when Covid happened and I was home all day with kids in virtual school, I lost my sh*t. But by the end of 2020 summer, I realized it was too much and stopped for a few months- until around the beginning of 2021. Now if I drink, if I have a second drink that day, I get a headache. When I drink, I may have 1 every other month. I feel so much better, sleep better, skin looks better and I eat better. Nothing but good.

An average of 1.25 drinks per night. Sometimes zero, and fairly often two. Never more than two because my body doesn't like it.

Honestly I do think I drink too much since women shouldn't have more than one drink per day. I would like to up my non-drinking days. But with my hard and fast "never more than two" rule, I think I'm at least out of most danger.

Haven’t had a drink in over 4 years. Was previously drinking 1 or more bottles of wine a night. Quit cold turkey and it’s been life changing.

My dad is an alcoholic, so I think a lot about this. Sometime last year, I realized I was having 2+ glasses of wine per night, and I felt like it was impacting my parenting. I limit myself now to 1-2 drinks on weekend nights. But I definitely look forward to it, so maybe even that is too much.

2 drinks per weekend, 3 out of 4 weekends/month

Never, I’ve never liked the taste of alcohol - rather drink water or Diet Coke. Also, I don’t drink my calories
