Proof the Beyoncé “hype” is 100% fake — clothing line flopped

Get your information from a reputable source next time the WSJ is a complete rag, racist and anti Semitic to the core.

An exclusive scoop by the business bible isn't credible? I guess we should wait for a hard-hitting planted fake story in People or TMZ to set the record straight. lol

Lay off Beyonce. We get it; you don't like her. So what? Plenty of people do.

Why boomers? I’m sure the people who like this person, and the people who dislike her, represent a cross section of the population.

I do think it’s weird that her clothing line basically collapsed.

Contrast this with Kayne’s and Rihanna’s success with clothing. Hell, Rhinanna is now a billionaire due to the success of her product lines.

I don't think fame is a great indicator of clothing line success. Look at Jessica Simpson. She's was well known when she went into clothing, but not at Beyonce level. And she made her line into a billion dollar industry.

So, I'd say it takes more than fame. Beyonce doesn't have a signature style. She's always dressed to entertain. At least in my impression. That makes it hard to sell an athletic line when she wears ball gowns and bathing suits mainly.

His pregnancies were 100% fake too.
As for any clothing line celebrities claim is their's ?
They steal those ideas from poor young designers trying to get their lines going.

And what does Kanye West have to do with this? If you hate Beyonce that's fine, but your post is weird and makes no sense. Not everything is for everyone.

+1

And OP is opening supporting racist trash

You're a dunce. Don't twist my words. I said Kanye, as wacky as he is, generated an AUTHENTIC frenzy for his shoes and clothing. Beyonce's, with the most astroturfed fake hype and signal boosting, can't sell anything. All the YESSSS QUEEENNNN buzz behind Beyonce is fake. It's been obvious for years.

You sound bitter and slightly crazy.

So is Jessica Simpson.

This strikes a chord with me. What is her signature style? I can’t wear a ball gown so…

I'm sure she's an extremely intelligent and hard-working businesswoman, but don't give me that crap about women's empowerment while you gyrate on stage with barely any clothes on. You know what you're selling here, and that is not it. And it's not music either.

Beyonce's career has spanned more than 25 years and she's risen to the top in her profession. She consistently worked while becoming a wife and mother. She's been with her husband for over 20 years and married to him for 15 years. Do you listen to any of her music? Her songs include messages of, being more than someones wife, relationships are work, motherhood isn't easy, women are fierce, never apologize for being strong or independent. I'd never look down on another women because she dresses 'too skimpy'. Do better.

Beyonce has stated many times that she only wants to be remembered for her music. I'm a Beyhive superfan and I wouldn't buy Ivy Park. Looks like something fun she does but I never got the impression it was anything more than social media hype. If she were really serious about it she has the resources to make it into something.

Her signature style is ass-out, never wear pants. If you've got her body it works, but no one has her body.

It's a line of athletic wear, it's not pop diva costumes.

Simpson, at least 10 to 20 years ago, was a wildly successful reality TV show and a genuinely endearing narrative, virginity/religious hook, and flyover state appeal. What is Beyonce's hook? Fake spammed tweets? It's not real. She's boring and dumb and married to Jay-Z, a dumb ex drug dealer high school dropout who clearly serial cheats on her.

She's been washed up for a while. If she wasn't married to Jay-Z and forced down our throats and given an unlimited budget, she would have faded from public view nine years ago. Her last successful album was ten years ago, 2013's Beyoncé.
