I walk anywhere that's within a mile or two that I need to go, and bike anywhere that's within 5 miles. Having that motivation of a place to go makes it easy to get in much more cardio than I would otherwise. It ends up being at least 15-20 miles of walking a week, and 10-20 miles of biking in good weather. I also do fun bike rides of 10-15 miles when the mood strikes and weather is ideal. |
I am sure the families still losing loved ones do.
Or people with older familiy members do. Or people with small children do. #1 cause of death in the US right now for kids. But hey OP good for you moving on. Amazing.... |

I go for 150 active minutes per week (measured by Fitbit) as the minimum, and exceed it if I can.
This is the amount in line with current recommendations for heart health. I make this my bare minimum and any additional time goes to weight training. |
