You’re wrong. “46% of those working from home have clocked out early to pour themselves a drink at least once during the quarantine. Another 45% of these respondents even admitted to having alcoholic drinks during work hours.” Not even including dope, thc vape, and edibles. |
So now a tv show is reality? |
You don’t seem to understand your point but proved my point. 46% STOP working to drink. So not at work. Then of that 46%, 45% of them say they have drunk during the day. So what is that actual %? Oh right. Not the norm. And great job of citing stats from a world wide pandemic that cause more mental health issues then any other recent event in history. |
| A proper Irish coffee does not contain Bailey's. |
| Next time you are in San Francisco, go the The Buena Vista (famous for their Irish coffee). They are an after dinner drink to me and typically, only one because they are sweet. |
| I remember at the start of the pandemic, Bailey’s basically incorporated the concept of Irish coffee during remote work into their ad campaign. |
45% of workers ADMIT to something in a poll (the real number is obviously far higher) and you still think only a tiny minority do it? You’re quite naive. |
| I think if you’re someone who goes to work and pours a shot of whiskey in your coffee on a Tuesday morning you have a problem. These aren’t any more addicting or a daily routine drink than an espresso martini would be at work or a mimosa at work. |
Lady, you don’t understand statistics. That 46% is only of those sampled, who again, stopped working to drink. You didn’t even cite your source so we have no idea how big the sample size is. Was it 100 people? 1000 people? What were the demographics? But you’re over here acting as if that 46% was ALL workers. 😂 And again, you cited something from during quarantine… |
Well ok, but to those of us who don't drink before or during the work day, it is the same. It is not ok. And for many of us, it is, actually, against the rules. I have never seen an appropriate situation online to say this, but maybe you should seek help. |
| I used to work with a teacher who drank it each morning during her first period classes. |
What a weird question. No, most people are not drinking spiked drinks at work. And if I worked from home, I wouldn't be drinking them daily, either. That's a lot of extra calories to be drinking daily. |
| I started drinking them during the early days of the pandemic when we were all locked down |
| They're delicious but I think of them as nighttime treats. I can't imagine drinking liquor daily, let alone during work. |
Do you still drink them daily? |
