And, yes, Virginia voters seem to assume this won't affect them. They are wrong.

What do you not understand?
Youngkin ran on banning all contraceptives, all abortions, IVF, any women's medical issues. Not one exception for age, rape or incest. So a 10 year old gets pregnant in VA she gets to carry.

The only reason he has not been able to pass anything is L Louise Lucas

There is a chance this will pass.

Virginia voters are idiots. FACT.

From a full abortion ban to privatizing schools welcome to the handmaid's tale and the new Alabama or Missouri.

Anyone sending a college student to any school in VA stupid. Women are going to die in droves.

Youngkin didn't run on those things. During the election people were on here saying he was being secretive about his real plans, telling a pro-lifer that he would do things after he was elected.

He said he believes that life begins at conception, that he would push a 15 week abortion ban with exceptions, and that he would happily sign any anti-abortion legislation. He would be fine with a full abortion ban if it was politically feasible.

Will we start seeing VA abortion refugees in DC and MD?

People think that there is a blue wall around NoVa, but state politics does impact NoVa, too.

DC or MD is a 20 minute drive. NOVA will be fine, it the people who live further out that will be impacted

So yes, we will see abortion refugees from VA.

Hate to break it to you, but NoVa is not a state. You don't have a wall around it.

You don’t have to trash VA voters, considering that the majority in NOVA did not vote for Youngkin.

LOL Youngkin won didn't he?

And how about midterms? Virginians lost a great candidate bec of their stupidity.

Youngkin was never ever a candidate to vote for so yes anyone who voted for him does not have brain cells. It was not hard to vet all that he said. Seriously not hard. Instead VA voted in the guy that lied about CRT and the BIG LIE>

So yeah Virginia voters ruined VA

You sound angry. If you don't like Virginia, no one is forcing you to visit.

Not if you have an emergency situation and get taken to the nearest ER. I had two friends in college that found out they were pregnant when they started bleeding with a miscarriage. What if it was an ectopic or a threatened abortion with infection or hemorrhage? There's no safe way to dodge these laws, even with money or proximity to safe states.

I'm in Virginia and GW is the closest hospital to my house. If the MAGAs in SWVA want to do this to themselves, it not going to change my life

What if Youngkin tries to do some of those other states are tying to do where anyone who goes out of state or aides the person to get an abortion will be charged?

OMG, it’s the usual troll again. FACT: Youngkin did not run on any of those issues, you complete dolt. Go spew your LWNJ extremist garbage elsewhere.

Hopefully the moms who voted for Youngkin don’t leave their kids as orphans when they have their next miscarriage. Because, the solution to a severe miscarriage at 23 weeks is an abortion.

But I guess that would be chickens coming home to roost. Isn’t it ironic, don’t ya think?

He purposely did not run on any of that because he’s a scummy liar. He said whatever he had to say to get elected.

The nut jobs are out in force, as usual - making up lies and gross exaggerations to try and fool their rubes. You look just as idiotic as always.
