Chappelle’s monologue employed a trope from the most antisemitic of texts, The Protocol of the Elders of Zion. He basically said that Jews control Hollywood.

His monologue lended credibility to Kanye West’s comments and will propagate more antisemitism.

Deso anyone know if the police have caught the person who painted seminar messages at the Giant, WJ, and the troley trail last summer? There are security cameras around the Giant and school. And they got som images of the guy at the Giant

And don’t you think they are related? I am a Jew who lives in Bethesda. This is literally on my doorstep. Incidents like this are going to keep happening until people are educated enough to understand what antisemitism is, what it looks like and how to speak out against it.

I agree with your last sentence, but no I don't think this has anything to do with Dave Chappelle's monologue, which is a distraction from the real hate being depicted here. (And I am Jewish too.)

Almost none If you asked if it was done by a child under 18, I’d say decent, if you asked odds for under 25, I’d say high, but I’m isn’t guessing.

I’m wondering what are the odds that it was done by a member of the north bethesda community. The last incident I strongly suspected it was someone from outside the community given that all the incidents were concentrated around the exit/entrance to the beltway. To have a repeat so close in time and location is really unsettling. It’s also more specific and more violent. It’s really upsetting.

Not surprising, unfortunately given the current rhetoric. This isn’t that far from the “KANYE WAS RIGHT” highway overpass incident a few weeks ago.

It would be interesting to know if anti-Semitic incidents spiked within 72 hours of Chappelle’s SNL monologue. I bet they did.

Also, you should be scared if it was a “punk teen” who did this. That punk teen is probably encountering your Jewish kid at school, could be bullying them.
