Agree

+1. Was listening to 1A this morning - the host is in Kentucky, which has an abortion referendum on the ballot. Jen White noted she had hardly seen any signs in favor of the referendum/for abortion rights. There were at least two caller/commenters that said they were voting for abortion rights, but no sign because they feared retaliation from their neighbors.

I don't know if there really is an accurate prediction of what will happen, but the Kansas referendum and the fact that young women are registering to vote in droves may be a bellwether.

Actually a good point and it could backfire on the Dems in 2024. I just read the article in the Post of what could happen if Trump is president again in 2024 and it’s terrifying.

I think Trump will be indicted on criminal charges in early 2023. If convicted, he will be ineligible to run for any federal office. I hope he is because what he did cannot go unpunished.

I wish this were true but it is not. If he’s a natural born citizen, is over 35, and hasn’t served two terms, he’s eligible.

Not if he's convicted of sedition, treason, conspiracy to defraud the US or selling information about national defense. He's certainly guilty of treason. Unfortunately, many people in the US don't care about that.

You know what’s insane?

If the republicans win the house, to f**king spite Biden, they are going to cause the United States to default on its debt for the first time in US history.

That sh*T is insane

Awwww, don’t worry about that.

We’ll be too busy with impeachment proceedings to have time for doing anything out of spite.

GOP is going to keep playing to the base until it doesn't have anything left to play. At some point it's an echo chamber.

I’m a one issue voter until there is a constitutional amendment guaranteeing bodily autonomy free of government control.
The court is no longer enough.
A law is no longer enough.
I’m one issue until there is an amendment.

OK, but how many Republicans have you ever voted for? I'd find it hard to believe you voted for Republicans in the last 30 years if you would be such a voter.

I don't think Trump will win unless the Russians stuff ballot boxes for him or corrupt State and Local officials redraw election boundaries like a Picasso cubist-period portrait.

Women are pissed and (normal) Republicans are fleeing the sinking ship, re-registering as Independents or Democrats.

They just don't have the number of voters they had four years ago.

3-4 times and always down ballot.
But not anymore. Todays down ballot R is tomorrow’s senate candidate.

You are correct. My bad. But the silver lining is that. If convicted then he goes to prison.

Why would anyone care what Michael Moore predicts?

I live in an abortion ban state and people aren’t going to vote on this one issue; ironic that you will in a blue state where it doesn’t effect you.

The border issue alone can get him impeached.
