| One of the greats, truly. In contention for best show if all time. |
| But don't forget the blight of the show, that is named PAIGE. That was a storyline that would have been best placed in the hands of a far more talented actress. She was TERRIBLE. I remember watching scenes between Keri Russell and her and thinking how does she tolerate having to work with this awful kid? |
Exaggerate much? The actress playing Paige was perfectly fine in the role. |
DP. She was bad. |
| The Americans was such a great show. I put it up there with Lost as the best TV series. |
She was distracting and a false note in an otherwise pretty perfect ensemble. |
OMG yes, she was a one-pitch whiner. |
|
I agree, not a fan of Paige.
It has to be hard, though. Phillip, Elizabeth, Stan...all played by truly extraordinary actors. |
You think she’s pretty? |
Yeah, even Father Tim was terrific - and he played Dollar Bill in Billions - I would never have connected the two performances as by the same guy (but the wig helped) |
Paige was supposed to be annoying. She was being a typical whiny American entitled teen. |
| I still watch the train scene on youtube. soo good, |
| This is also one of a very few series I’ve re-watched all the way through. I was amazed at how compelling it was even the second time. Great show, totally holds up. |
She was supposed to be compelling to watch on screen. She was not. |
I loved Paige. I only wish she got more screentime! She had one of the most interesting arcs of the show, and she made the internal growth/conflict convincing. Right up to the stunner ending! |
