I'll vote for her over the idiot running for AG who doesn't understand he was ineligible to run

Oh he knew he wasn't eligible. He was counting on his friends on the Council to tinker with the law or vote in an emergency loophole so he could run. They didn't.

I wonder if Silverman promised him something along those lines and then double-crossed him, so now he's targeting her (I would say his chances are good, he would have won a citywide race for AG). Wouldn't surprise me.

There is no way that Silverman would have made any promises to McDuffie. She would't want McDuffie completing with Zachary Parker and a whole lot of other Council Members would have had to make similar false promises. The obvious answer is most likely correct. McDuffie doesn't have a job, the At-Large seat is his best opportunity, and the Green Team financial backers are desperate to unseat Silverman and have probably promised him a mint (which he will need since he can't use pubic financing).

"Public financing" makes me nostalgic for the Barry years.

LOL. I used to work in Public Affairs and made that typo so many times, always at the worst times as well.

I used to work in pubic affairs but we don't talk about those years.

You said it all.

McDuffie may be the first person in history to run for two seats and be declared ineligible for both of them.

Trayon is the Ward 8 Councilmember. McDuffie lives in Ward 5. White's seat is also not up this year.

I am not understanding the issue in Ward 3. She is a progressive and didn't want Goulet, not a liberal, to win. She wanted to get Frumin out of the race to clear the path for Duncan, but Duna's numbers and donations were too low, so she talked Duncan into bowing out. Either way, Frumin was going to win. He just won by more.

OMG, If I were McDuffie, I would tell this joker I don't want his support. I will seriously vote against McDuffie just because of this.

Dear Eric, calling you out for courting DFER is not lies or attacks. Grown a skin.

Yeah, somehow telling the truth about someone became "lies."

Silverman's oversight of DOES has been a horrible failure.
