That’s the same as the Q4 etron?

Does it feel plastic-y inside?

We've had our IONIQ5 for about a month and it's really fun to drive.

No, the ID.4 is from VW.

Audi and Hyundai get high marks from my trusted first hand source. Tesla…. Crap based on their experience with several.

If you're planning to install a rapid charger at home, then focus on the Hyundai/Kia which can charge 10 to 80% in 20 minutes at a fast charger location.

see.. why do people buy teslas if Hyundais/Kias EVs are so good?

I'm gonna either get a Hyundai EV or plugin hybrid. I loathe Musk.

The Tesla charging network is really extensive. It makes it so easy. I also hate musk. We bought ours before it was obvious what an ass he is. But he really did something impressive in building that network of chargers across the country. I don’t think other cars can use them, but teslas can use any charger.

This is after our delivery got pushed from fall 2022 to December 2022. An 18 month wait for a car? Not sure what Musk is thinking, but I'm not waiting that long for this car. What are some other good EV's to consider? I'm starting to look at both Polestar and Ioniq. Just curious what EV's you have and would recommend, aside from Tesla.

What options did you order? We ordered a Y performance without any additional options in March 2022 and it’s being delivered this month.

My parents just got an Ioniq5, and they LOVE it. It did take them a few months to find one, though (they don't live in the DC area).

Unfortunately, other EV automakers do not have a robust supercharging network like Tesla. Read this below article before spending your money on one.

They share the same platform.

It's not just Musk, it's also the build quality. The panel gaps and paint jobs coming from Tesla now are unacceptable in a modern car

Did you guys also test drive the Kia EV6? I've read that the Ioniq is a bit more comfortable, but the EV6 is a bit more performance-oriented with a stiffer, but still comfortable ride.

This is the problem, in a nutshell.

We had a Chevy bolt that got recalled and finding a charger was never, ever an issue within the DMV. Long trips I don’t know because we never tried.

I have spent a lot of time in a friend’s model 3 and the build quality is just atrocious, and I’m not a “car” person.
