I’m 100% sure she’d rather have the money than old lady jewelry |
I’m 100% sure you’re wrong. |
I love them and I love the other suggestions by PPs. I think that if they speak to you as something you want to give her, it will be a very thoughtful and special gift. |
I like the idea of Tiffany but I don’t love those particular earrings that much. I prefer the Paloma Picasso designs, pearls or a silver bracelet for about the same price. |
Don’t get her sterling silver. It looks terrible when it tarnishes, which it will fairly quickly. And then they will be left in a drawer someone bc she doesn’t want to deal with chemicals and dipping them |

You may not like it, but it's what they want. If you get her these earrings, they'll sit for those 10 years. I'd rather get something that I know my nieces will wear now, not something they'll forget about. In fact, my two nieces who are 22 and 25 requested Mejuri gift cards for Christmas this year. They like gold necklaces, small hoops and studs, thin gold bracelets, nothing that is going to stand out. If you insist on getting something from Tiffany get something cool like the Hardwear earrings or teeny tiny studs or hoops. |
Remember that you're buying for a 21 year old and not a 45 year old. |
I'm sorry, but OP said her niece is working in NYC banking. Trust me she doesn't want Elsa Peretti old lady earrings. |
If she’s very fashionable she won’t like those. |
NP. Is Mejuri even real gold/silver? Or just that plated crap? |
I work in NYC finance and manage 40+ young 20 somethings. None of them would wear this kind of earring nor would they care about it being Tiffany.
If you want classic I'd at least go for small cuff earrings, those seem to be much more popular and on trend for them. |
DP. It's real gold and silver. |
Oh god no these are old lady earrings |
My 70 year old mom would wear those. Awful |
